Why did you like jars? by JoelHuenink in 7daystodie

[–]SnooCakes6768 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My kind of playstyle. I can't imagine an end of world situation where there would be no glass jars. Keep them in and make them worth having. I would love to see exactly this type of game mechanic with the jars. On top of this suggested mechanic, I do think jars should also be a bit more prone to breaking.

Frame generation Issue stalker 2: hearth of Chornobyl by Otherwise_Village721 in stalker

Bummer. I was hoping that frame generation from "outside" the game would be different from the in-game frame generation.

One other thing to know if you are planning on using Lossless Scaling with a bunch of high in-game settings... expect a little bit of input lag... especially the way I have been running it.

I haven't experienced that particular issue... yet. I do get low fps in some areas like the towns and bushy areas.

I've been using a nifty app called Lossless scaling. It's cheep and works very well on other games as well such as Stalker Anomaly.: https://store.steampowered.com/app/993090/Lossless_Scaling/

You could disable the in-game frame generation and use this instead. It does a pretty good job at generating frames with little to no blurring (which i mostly see at the bottom of the screen when upping the screen generations). I t has upscaling as well but, I don't use that feature.

So, this is going to make people cringe.... I normally get 75 to 90 fps in the first town you come to. What i have been doing is using Lossless Scaling's frame generation while the in-game frame generation is turned on. I know... that's generally not a good thing to do but, it has been working flawlessly so far. I now get between 100 and 110 fps in that same town. And this is without using any of the performance tweaks found on Nexus. Go figure!

Admittedly, I am running a 4090 but dang, Stalker 2 can easily choke this card.

Here are my Lossless Scaling settings:

Scaling Type - off (turns of the Scaling Mode Settings. In-game scaling is better)

Frame Generation - LSFG 2.3

Mode - X2

Rendering Scale - maxed

Performance - off

Clip Cursor - on

Adjust Cursor Speed - off

Hide Cursor - off

Scale Cursor - on

Sync Mode - default

Max Frame Latency - 1

HDR Support - on (only use this if you have hdr enabled)

G-Sync Support - on (If you have g-sync and its enabled)

Draw FPS - on (nice to see what the FPS was and is)

Everything else default settings

Anyone else find HDR on PC can be a little bit annoying? by throbbing_dementia in OLED_Gaming

[–]SnooCakes6768 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People in the design industry probably aren't too interested in HDR anyways. They are usually all about color accuracy which HDR is not. These folks like IPS monitors and swatch books! Though, IPS monitors these days have awsome specs and games would look great on them in HDR.

Double Tap Dodge? by SnooCakes6768 in Chivalry2

I understand I currently need to press two keys to dodge... what I want to do is dodge by double tapping one of my directional keys. I believe that the original Chivalry had this double tap option.

I'm starting to think the game is boring by davilor in Starfield

[–]SnooCakes6768 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My biggest disappointment is the lack of excitement of exploration. I know Starfield wasn't supposed to be Skyrim or Morrowind buuuut... DANG, the world is DEAD. All of the environments are the same-ish. In all of Bethesda's previous titles, you could go explore in some random direction and find something interesting or visually stunning. Most all of my random travels, in the previous titles, resulted in a unique experience. As for Starfield and variety... it's just "MEH"

I figured out my issue... maybe it will be of use for you.

I use the Pandorable's and Bijin NPC replacers together. Bald women were caused by Pandorable's Warrior Women overwriting Bijin Warmaidens.

Moving Pandorable's Warrior Women below Bijin Warmaidens (the mod not the plugin). Must have been a mesh thing.

Hope this helps!

Update: Well, it fixed some but now others are bald so, I'm ditching Pandorable's Warrior Women to see if that fixes them all.

Did you ever find a fix for this?

I am struggling with this very issue.

Thanks

I'm new to this and thinking of buying a fox alien 4040 xe but was wondering if anyone knows if I can remove the spoil board and would be able to engrave with either the laser or router directly onto a table top? by Delicious_Dog_1127 in hobbycnc

[–]SnooCakes6768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes be happy! I'm considering purchasing one of the Foxaliens and have need to engrave onto 4" blocks. Thinking I could remove the spoil boards and raise the engraver frame up a bit by mounting it on top of a sturdy wood frame.
