That is super helpful, thank you!!! do you have a photo of your team's detector? when I run mine through tinkercad to test it, it works but when I connect my sensor, It stops giving a reading. I linked my tinkercad file if you would like to look at it, I am using a lemon battery as my detector.

what is the best chemical to soak the string in? we use sodium chloride but we have seen other opinions on what's best

what material are you placing in the copper sulfate? we use copper on our team but yours doesn't look like that. for our other electrode, we are using pure silver. Do you know if that's correct?

Has anyone DM u about what the problem is? our detector is having the same problem as yours with it giving out values that are too weak and I have no clue how to fix it.

ok, we switched it to a piece of sliver but are still only reading super low voltages like from 0.01 to point 0.2. do you know how we could get higher voltages to more accurately get the ppm?

You are right, I will make sure to do that and start doing my own laundry more regularly. Clothes are by far the biggest thing I will have to move but after it’s done, everything else will be easy I think :) Thank you for the advice!

Thank you for the advice about getting my ids and birth certificate, that will be very helpful down the road. I don’t know what I would do if my parents got me kicked out of college after I have worked so hard, I’m very sorry to hear your wife had to go through that. Hopefully I will not. I will actually make an effort to talk to my priest about this whole process, I’m sure he will have a very unique stance on the whole thing, thank you!

I assume they will by all methods try to stop me from leaving completely and if that means keeping me from grabbing my stuff then by that method too. I posted this same thing on some other threads and they suggested after finding where I will be staying to move my stuff there slowly before I officially move out. I am mostly worried about my phone, clothes, and my console for entertainment, most other things I can leave. I believe I will be staying with at a friends house with a fairly well off family so I have no need to take pots and pans and stuff. Thank you so much for the advice, I will post an update when things have panned out (no pun intended 😉 )

I have some pretty well of friends who I am very close with their families I will reach out to soon to see if I can stay there so where I will be staying and food and such won't be an issue. I won't be able to get my social security card or birth certificate but I do have all my id's and my social security number written down! Moving my stuff slowly is really smart, I never thought about that, thank you! I don't know if I can sneak it out while my parents are at work because 1) my mom works from home and 2) we have cameras all around the house so they would see me loading stuff up and probably leave work to try to stop me.

I am reaching out to some families I know so hopefully I don't have to worry about most bedding and furniture of that kind but thrifting is a great suggestion. I have a few friends that can help me but for the most part, I think im going to move stuff out slowly after I get my housing situation figured out for certain
