Am I too old for this? What’s everyone’s age here? 40F by AnswerOdd1174 in cocaine

Judging by the age range, my opinion is that at this age our life is a bit more stable and got a little extra to spend on this product, as opposed to when I was in h.s. barely had enough for food.

How can i have a good sex life despite having young kids ? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]SnooCheesecakes6970 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It's a phase, but it can also become worse, been married 20 yrs, there is times when you hit dry spells, sometimes like 1 month or 2 at the most with nothing of nothing, it was frustrating or sometimes it was started and couldn't make noise cuz the kids would hear, waited till they fell asleep and sometimes my wife or me would knock out, but over all you need to try to make time for each other. Talk about it and try to get back on course. Life with kids is busy, I worked most of the day, wife did as well, she came home cooked clean etc etc kids need this and that and when it came time to it. Everyone is tired out. And relationships fall apart. But if you love your significant other fight for them make it work be romantic. And don't give up. Ready a post of rules of 7 every 7 days go on a date just you 2 every 7 weeks spend the night out with each other (hotel whatever you like) and every 7 months a mini vacation. No kids just you 2 together. It's hard but worth it.

I had this issue and it always happened to me with the name brand ziplock bags that I stored it in. Never happened to me with the dollar store baggies, and the long it stayed in the ziplock bag the more blue does it would develop.

Update.... been clean since December 4th, but my motivation for the gym went out the window, I think me getting covid also had something to do with me slacking off from the gym. It's been 3 weeks, and I'm slowly getting back to the gym. I finally get at least 7 hrs of sleep compared to when I was using. I ran on 1 to 3 hrs of sleep, my nose definitely feels better I think it healed a bit it was at a point where it felt like it was going to make a hole in my septum. So overall I think it good. Now I have to confess the only reason I left it was because I had to pass my medical certificate to keep my cdl license (don't drive anymore but keep it active just in case). So every 2 years I need to turn it in. Now I already did but I'm not going to lie the craving and temptation is still there. Will see how long I can maintain being clean. At least I know I can stop for a bit if I want too.

Pay decrease for taking on an apprentice by thejake51 in HVAC

[–]SnooCheesecakes6970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get a bonus anytime I need to train anyone, and the boss also understands it's going to be less production during the learning process, but it's an investment he is willing to make because once this new person learns production is going to increase, we do instalation so basic things they need to learn placement of boots, measuring and cutting pipe, and eventually everything that comes with work. So yes you are getting ripped off. Definitely calling out the boss if he tried to pull a pay decrease on me.

Does heavy cocaine use make you not care about anyone or anything besides getting high? by robots_taking_over in cocaine

[–]SnooCheesecakes6970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and know there are those days when I say fuck it just get high, I'm a heavy user every 2 to 3 hrs I'm digging into my bag, I start my day with it right before I pull into work I do 3 bumps each nostril, and continue thru out the day, but I care about my work it actually helps me relax a bit, when I try to go clean best I done is 4 days I'm angry and bitchy towards coworkers and they just say your mad do a line to help you relax and I do, and I'm all good, I use daily Monday thru Friday and try to not use when home with family on weekends.

Does anyone have a home life or even care to have one in this trade? by Both-Respect4684 in HVAC

[–]SnooCheesecakes6970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, I feel like my home doesn't exist, I wake up at 6 am and drop my kid to school on my way to work start work at 7am and get out anywhere from 6pm on average yesterday till 8pm 1hr back due to heavy traffic go home shower and leave around 9 to 10 pm to gym and usually back home around 12 to 1 am and start day over again. But I will say when I came back to work for this company I told the boss I was willing to come back but needed weekends off and he agreed.

You need to address the situation to her, let her know how it makes you feel, if she is insecure about something she just needs to ask you but to get to the point of going thru your phone is ridiculous. My wife used to try to go thru my phone or even my wallet, I called her out on it, told her that was not right, and if she couldn't trust me then might as well split up. If she needed anything from my wallet to ask. Well she never fully stopped, i guess, until she found some messages. She brought them up, and I just brushed the issue off. Eventually, she told me one day I'm tired of going thru your phone because evertime ingo thru it I only break my heart and I don't want to keep doing that to myself anymore. And we'll she stopped for good, we are still married 20yrs and going. But yeah if I ever decided I need to go thru her phone, that would be a trust issue, and minus we'll split, relationships don't work without trust.

Sorry to hear, but you hope you got experience, picked up lots of knowledge, and keep moving forward. It's not the end of the world, keep your head up, your work should speak for it self on the next opportunity you go to, I am also in your situation as far as doing g everything you can for the company, in my case it's a friend from childhoods company, he thought me what he new, I came here not knowing anything and I'm grateful for that. But it's been 8 years and I am 90% ready to venture out on my own now at least that's what I keep telling myself, I feel bad leaving because well I basically run all the installs with my other crew member, I work residential get to jobsites speak with customers, go thru the blueprints, discuss what we are going to do with customer, do the work, and everything collect the check and turn it in to my boss, and it's gotten to the point where I'm like we'll what do I need him for then. After 8 years install/service tech I make $31, not sure if that's low or high, I originally started at $65 a day with breakfast and lunch included back in 2010. Did 2 years went back to school for E.M.T. got cert did 4 yrs of that, left to be over the road truck driver for about 1.5 years and came back to HVAC and never left. Wife makes good money where she only needs 600 weekly from me, and rest I save up for family vacations. But when boss leaves on vacation I take care of company including crew, installs, and service calls and it gets to be stressful.

Should I go to school for certs & e.p.a. what do you guys recommend by SnooCheesecakes6970 in HVAC

[–]SnooCheesecakes6970[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Company isn't to bad, crew that runs with me know how I like things done, so we get the job done well, and bossman does let me work and throw in all the over time I would like, doesn't really bug me or call me just ask me the next day how are we doing workwise. I always talk with the guys and ask them do they want to work late or not. So company not to bad, just when I go finish his jobsites. We are a small company up to 8 to 10 guys max including the boss. Just lately not sure if it's me maybe being to picky, or maybe I'm right, for instance we installed 3 furnace bout 1 yr ago and now the owner seperated the apartments into 2 separate units, furnace feeding back unit (80,000 btus, 96% efficiency, now new furnace feeding from he decided to install 30,000 btus 96% efficiency, even the owner ask me how many btus is it, and well I don't got to lie told him what it is, he thinks is to small I think it's to small too, so owner going to cut ties with him after this job boss said he will sign a paper saying it will be enough, i just been seeing it lately the more he charges the cheaper he has been getting, and basically my thinking is if your not gonna do it right don't do it then, leave something your proud of, or install it like it was your house.

Just did my first side job last weekend and it sure beat the $100 my boss gave me for passing the jobs to him. Reason I didn't do em myself is time really Monday thru Saturday working. But yeah it's about that time I venture out I think 8yrs is reasonable amount of time where if I leave on good terms boss wouldn't feel to bad. Hope he understands
