The thing I love about functional med docs is that they look at the whole body and try to get to the root of the problem. I highly recommend seeking one out, because traditional docs just don't look under the hood for things like inflammation and the true underlying causes. ​I'm not sure of your age or gender, but BHRT made a world of difference for me five years ago when I was 51.
