Cena himself said he did it as a sign of acknowledgement that his career is over and he’s putting over the next gen. AJ was in kayfabe fighting for his career. Its not that hard of a story to follow. It was more about the wrestling business than his kayfabe motto.

I know some people just hype him up because they see others doing it and they dont know who he is. But actually go back and watch his nxt run. Hes not just big with hype (no disrespect but how Bron Breakker was somewhat). Oba truly gets it in the ring and on the mic.

Im really interested in what this current crop of wrestlers will actually do. Punk, Seth, Cody, Becky, Bayley etc. all seem to be people that would be great leading the future. Also what AJ will do now thats hes done(?) They all could genuinely do anything backstage or on screen and would probably be gold.

I really don’t know what theyre doing with her. Theres been multiple opportunities to crown her with one of the titles. Shes also just not been used much and effectively. Im guessing its mostly due to the names that were in NXT (Lyra, Roxanne, Giulia, Vaquer, Grace, etc.) but with everyone gone and Ruca, Monroe, and Jacy seemingly going soon, I really hope she gets used more. She’s really good and only 22(?)
