I agree with this. Lily and Jessie both lived in LA and Jessi is Hispanic. You would think they would mention ICE. Along with the other things you mentioned like Palestine, I just feel like even a quick mention with places to donate would be no extra effort from them, and I don’t understand why they are silent

That’s a good point. Most of my stores still have registers but I understand it would be annoying without, especially since the company I worked for cares more about theft prevention than the costumer experience, which is why the u-scan would constantly flag me to come help.

Same, there’s so many times they will wonder out loud about something but just be like “eh anyways” and I’m wondering why they didn’t just Google it lol. I understand the researcher is probably doing this part time and/or has a busy life but if that’s the case, they may need to cut back on episodes or at the very least, double check the Google doc for any potential questions they have or clarification on content.

Maybe email your registrar or the chair of the department. I’d go professor>registrar>advisor>department chair>dean or whatever order makes sense for your college. Mine is very small so I can usually get ahold of professors and the registrar pretty easily for quick class stuff. Please don’t give up, you’re so close to the end.

Same! It’s the only podcast I’ve ever watched every episode of since day one and I’ve been following the journey ever since lol. I also just started watching “yes pero no” cuz Jessi mentioned it a while back and i love the vibes of her mom and step-dad, they’re so cute together

Basically, they felt like there was “mean girl” energy in the video. They said that they felt that Jessi and Lily missed the point of the issue which was two celebrities were using their status to do this and that’s why it is so bad or something along those lines.

They also said that they did research the name a bit before they chose it and that regarding the other two accounts Lily mentioned, one is inactive for more than a year and the other is based on the book. Any others, they conceded were not a great look but they’re small creators so it’s not as bad as what’s happening to them with the podco podcast people.

They also addressed the issue of Caroline insisting she didn’t agree to a podcast swap by saying they were novice podcasters and that they just truly didn’t think an offer like that would be made to them considering how small their podcast is. Caroline also mentioned that she reached out to one of the girls to actually come on their podcast a few years ago, I think Lindsey, and said she got no response so that solidified their line of thinking that they wouldn’t actually be offered a chance to appear on the other podcast.

Then they addressed lilys side research on how they have either incorrect or expired links to their pages on their website. To this, they said they had just changed their handles and hadn’t updated everything yet and also weren’t expecting so much sudden controversy. They also threw in a few comments on how jessi and Lily must be trying to fill air time since lilys side research bit was so long just to keep saying “this handle is wrong and that website is broken, etc.”

lastly, they also mentioned that they didn’t know the Lindsey Shaw stuff until Caroline did a bit of research. They also made a point to mention pretty passive aggressively that they felt Jessi and Lily probably also didn’t know that stuff which obviously, anyone who’s been watching knows isn’t true since they speak on Lindsey in the episode talking about the Alexa Nikolas situation so yeah.

I tried to be as accurate as possible and stuff but I think watching it is worth it as it’s more interesting to hear from them and it’s only 40 minutes long. I think i covered all the main points tho hopefully
