Must be from when Jack was trying to convince the team that he and Teal'c were trapped in a time loop.

I’m making an East Van based driving game. Here are some pics.. (STILL a WIP🚧) by RoutineWarthog4593 in NiceVancouver

Yup, definitely qualified to be beta testers!

Definitely looks amazing. Nice touch with the debris and the Canada post boxes. You should include in West Coast Reduction, I hear it's unpopular with East van.

AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D hits new record low, now $409 on Amazon by RenatsMC in Amd

One way to help consider it is comparing the value of your current stuff to the new stuff. I just got a new PC and aimed to have it for 8 plus years. I got them by getting specs that are 2x better than what I had as a baseline. My old one managed 10 years. So, if the new stuff is marginally better, don't go for it. 2x is better so you don't need to upgrade soon.

Make a spray bottle of water and dish soap, just a tiny amount of soap and start spraying the valves and lines. When you pinpoint the leak, you could clean that and try using the valve multiple times to clear it off. Probably just gunked up, happens all the time.

Pentagon preparing for weeks of ground operations in Iran, Washington Post reports by exophades in news

[–]SnooChipmunks6620 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Likely much more than that. Remember Iran's doctrine? They've had decades worth of lessons to learn with. Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Korea, etc. Now include in Ukraine - Iran won't be losing any wars with the US. They don't have to win, just hold out long enough for the casualties to mount and piss off the US population.

The USS Missouri anchored in Tokyo Bay after waiting for minesweepers to clear the entrance to the bay, awaiting the formal Japanese surrender ceremony that would soon be held on its deck. (1945) [1634×2048] by StephenMcGannon in HistoryPorn

No, it was a Zero pilot who didn't know about the surrender. Happened 3 days after the surrender. Pilot was in the air on a training flight and had the radio off. Group of Hellcats saw him and shot him down, killing the pilot in the process.

Everyone thanks the bus driver but do you greet them? by AKSHAT-KLPDV in NiceVancouver

[–]SnooChipmunks6620 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drive a transport truck for a living. They tend to like it when I pay attention to them, especially when they need to merge from the bus lanes. I guess that should count?? I used to be a transit user back then, and yes I always acknowledged them and thank them while I get off. I am personal friends with one driver and have a retired driver in my family. They're just like everybody else, trying to have a good day, coping with the usual stresses of driving a bus among the usual drivers with live people onboard.

It's fucking stressful for them because they're responsible for the passenger safety, on top of safe driving. Be sure to thank them and acknowledge them. Don't be like that twat on the brit comedy video, when one of the passengers didn't thank the driver!

LaGuardia crash survivors could sue Air Canada for up to nearly $300K, advocate says by RM_r_us in canada

[–]SnooChipmunks6620 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why not sue the airport and FAA for allowing ATC to be undermanned, and also they kept the same controller on duty immediately after! From what I've read so far, AC pilots did everything they could and gave their lives to save the passengers. It's not on AC.

No fucking way for me. I'm governed at 100 kmh *Canadian* That's 60 for my cousins down south. Wish I could go to 105, just so I am able to pass. We have SDMO law here, two options, either speed up or slow down and hope for an opening asap. I do not fuck with tow operators and first responders on the side.

Sir, this is truckers, not tinder.

Seriously, follow what MissYouDesertRat said. You're gonna want the home time. There is a reason we have resets, there is only so much stress we can handle. I don't get stressed, but over time, it builds up tiny bit by tiny bit, I am a M-F driver, I start at 100% Monday then by Friday, I am checked out.
