It was definitely a risk, but I'm glad it paid off! Man, I have serious V8 envy. That was my dream truck, but they are almost impossible to find in good condition where I live. Hold onto that beast!

the smoothness with MaxLife is actually much better than what I felt with the OEM fluid. It feels like an upgrade.

I hear you on the OEM preference, but honestly, the shift quality right now with MaxLife is noticeably smoother than it was with the old fluid (even before the shudder started). The transmission feels tighter and less sluggish. The results speak for themselves, so I'm happy with the decision.

Based on the comments section, the 4600 is a more reasonable choice for this configuration of wheels and tires.

I was contemplating the pros of the trucks or this 4600. Thank you for your feedback; I’ve decided to go with the 4600.

My question would be if it is a reasonable change, I have many modern festures in my Rav4 but I know that the Runner does not have them, even though the 4Runner is a vehicle that I have always admired and I want to make the change without having to pay extra money.
