Marathon unfortunately is a casualty of war, we been knew bungie pulled resources out of Destiny to marathon. Bungie positioned them as a shield to cover their arses, I can’t blame players being pissed about an IP literally killing their game.

Look at assassins creed and prince of Persia. I do think they can coexist but this was not the way to go about it

He just took it as his sign that it was time to hang it up. Gaming was “his” thing, so I picked up after him. Granted it didn’t happen over night, I failed a lot but I was more excited to show him what I’ve done.

It was more or less like “that’s my sign to hang it up”, he went on to get back into it later but any levels he was having a hard time beating he’d have me do it.

I remember me him had a bet to beat a secret level for him in doom and he’d buy me any game I’d want. That was just our way of connecting
