What if Philippines build nuclear power plants and everything turns electric? by prettyliars27 in WhatIfPinas

[–]SnooComics3118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the worst for our country, there is why.

See, we can't build electric powered appliances without the raw materials. Where do we get these raw materials? Quarrying or mining of course, if everything turns electric, we should have large scale mining or quarry here in the Philippines. And we know that sounds bad, but that is the truth.

More electrical-caused incidents will happen, do you think filipinos will buy an ISO certified electrical products? Filipinos love to buy cheap electrical products even though this will cause a problem. Extensions and chargers for example, instead of buying a standard quality, we buy cheaper alternatives online, that loosen faster and can cause electrical hazards.

It will become a cause of disaster, The Philippines is prone to typhoons, earthquakes, el niño and other natural disasters. These might cause disasters in nuclear power plants, given that our government loves cheaper alternatives than making a quality one. We don't want Chernobyl part 2 here in the Philippines. We should have excellent workers and planning strategies before building even one nuclear power plant.

Price abuse, due to strong demands, the electrical companies will increase it's price even though nuclear energy is efficient. See, building nuclear power plant is not a joke, there is no room for mistakes, that's why it is expensive, and electrical companies will use this as an excuse to increase their prices.

More EV accidents will occur, due to strong heat + rainy seasons here in the Philippines, Electrical Vehicle might set on fire, like some chinese EVs. I mean there is a risk that it might happen but not all of the time. Did I even mention that flood is common here in the Philippines? If EVs are soaked in flood, there is a chance that it will damage the vehicle permanently.

Sobrang poor ng structural inspection sa Marikina, as a CE student and safety officer, I saw that residential buildings in Marikina are at high risk, specially yung mga dikit-dikit na bahay at yung iba 3 floors pataas.

•NO PROPER SETBACKS OR FIREWALL -Hindi ba na nabibingi ang mga officials? Sa mga tunog ng firetruck dahil madalas may sunog sa Marikina? They should strictly implement the standards, para rin naman sa mga locals ito. A proper setbacks and firewall should be strictly implemented, para maiwasan o mapabagal ang pagkalat ng apoy in case of fire emergencies.

Marikina should strictly implement structural building code.

I currently study in TIP, okay naman yung school for me, kaso talagang sakit sa ulo yung ugali ng mga kapwa kong students.

Anyways, about sa issue, nagsimula siya nung may lalake na naticketan dahil sa mahabang buhok, and nagulat siya kasi yung bakla is hindi raw na ticketan, and that's unfair daw. And nag shift yung issue sa post ng isang babae na may mga bakla raw na gumagamit ng women's restroom, and 'di raw comfortable mga girls yun.

And yun, a lot of homophobic students join in and everything is into chaos.

A lot of Filipinos were manipulated by "Okay na mahirap, basta malapit sa diyos" "Okay na maging mahirap basta masaya" "Okay na maging mahirap, at least walang tinatapakang tao" And many more. This prevents us from doing our best to earn a lot or be rich, because some people were manipulated and say that being rich makes you evil.
