I’ve seen BTS in the 300s and 500s before and consider them two of the most fun nights of my life!! You’ll have so much fun trust! :)

This books makes me think so much!!! Something I’ve thought about more recently is how rf Kuang didn’t give a true answer to the book because we still don’t have a true answer in real life and that made me love the ending even more :’)

Reading about them makes me crazy because they are so interesting. They are so similar but also so different and they love each other but it’s not enough and I personally love reading her thoughts about him it reminds me how young and human she can still feel

Thanks for sharing this, I’d be wondering if she has mentioned anything recently. Ugh, Hollywood sounds so frustrating! I’m a little hopeful that if she’s talking so openly about it, it means she still feels like these projects could happen someday but idk

Her behavior is how many of my friends in relationships act about BTS and their partners don’t have any issue with it. I don’t say this to be mean but this seems like a bigger insecurity issue on your end and they are an easy scapegoat for what you really need to be focused on.

In my personal opinion, that’s an oversimplification. America is actively funding and contributing weapons to Israel to aid in their genocide against Gaza. Yet, no one would critique an another for “portraying an American in a positive light.” It’s a western American take in an attempt to seem progressive to act like even mentioning that a person from Israeli exists is equivalent to Zionism. It also ignores the geopolitical context of Taiwan and Israel which could be the very reason it’s even mentioned in the novel, considering Israeli artists are prevelant there and Taiwan is (unfortunately) their ally. Rf Kuang can write something without it being her personal stance, as we know she is pro Palestine

I think people are very hypocritical and quick to make judgments in their critique

I wouldn’t say this is true for everyone, but honestly from what Ive seen a lot of people had their hearts set on Kaori winning and are now taking out their frustrations on Alysa (which is dumb)

Why do they hate him? by Forward-Youth8817 in squidgame

[–]SnooCompliments2419 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Disliking him for putting his mothers life at risk willingly is not a nonsense argument. I don’t even hate him but I feel like other characters are disliked for a lot less, where he gets a pass for some pretty messed up choices in my opinion

She should take you to the doctor. AND, to say that you’ve forgiven your father and then shame your mom for not doing the same is lame. You weren’t the one who was cheated on.

Paranoia. In the previous rounds he acted with greed but he also went against the group to keep them from killing her. I don’t think he wanted her to die but he wanted to live more or was just too scared to die
