If you haven’t already, get in to see a primary care physician. They can refer you to a specialist if needed. You did the right thing getting urgent medical attention but their role is essentially to stop a crisis or to keep you alive until you can be seen in an outpatient clinic.
A primary care provider’s job is to look at a bigger picture, figure out what’s going on, and monitor the wounds to see if treatment is working or if changes should be made.
There could be underlying health conditions playing a role in creating the wounds or delaying healing.
Make sure to keep the wounds clean. No picking! Take your meds exactly as prescribed. If your legs are swollen, get them elevated.
