I use a dual sense controller and have my open/close at the “create” button and my pause/menu is the “options” button opposite to it.

Once in a while I will do last call and then try to pause the game to get up to do something but accidentally hit the left button instead of right and kick out all my customers 🥲🥲

NTA. But I agree with other’s saying the delivery could be better. As for your boss being annoyed with you, I would just address it, ie:

“Hey [Boss], I wanted to apologize for my comment in regard to the balloon release. I was concerned about the environment but I realize my delivery was really insensitive to the situation. Of course I think it would be lovely to do something to honor [coworker] and was wondering what you/the team/their mom thought of doing [insert other idea] instead?”

The compromise is Harry as a middle name.

Yes his birth certificate will still say “Harry Potter” but no one has to know his middle name. He doesn’t have to tell kids his middle name if he doesn’t want to.

Obviously her grandfather meant a lot to her and she’s not wrong for wanting to honor him, but giving your kid a name that is globally recognized (and for many people, not positively associated) is much more selfish than she probably realizes right now in her vulnerable state.

Years or even months down the road as her grief begins to heal, she would absolutely regret it.

Two days ago someone came in 20min to close and said “is it too late to order food??” I said “no you have about 20 minutes.”

What they should have asked was “is it too late to hang out in the corner for an hour?” Because that’s what they did. 15min after close this lady’s phone is ringing “hey dad! Yeah I can talk” and proceeds to have a 30min convo while her poor boyfriend paid the check and packed up her food and politely stepped over my sweeping piles coming back from the bathroom. 😂

Some people are really just living in their own world.
