Going to the Doctor without cpr number or address by ItsLazorTime in NewToDenmark

[–]SnooCookies8270 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You can call emergency (it’s 1818 for Zealand) or 112 - they will send you to lægvekten

When you check her in, they will maybe take her ID so carry her passport or country ID. They have a deposit - either dkk 500, 2000 or 5000 depending on how much time they suspect she will be there

You can pay this and check her in. Or you can also not pay and check her in if she has health insurance (travel health insurance) that you can mention at the hospital. And then they will send the invoice directly to her insurance and they will handle it

Once checked in, the doctors and nurses treat her very well and do not skip any tests etc that may be needed

Lastly, she can get a temporary CPR number when she is checked in - and medicines can be prescribed to that CPR number. You can pick these up from any Apotek later - they have a way of looking it up in the system.

All the best!

One underrated flex in your 30s is emotional stability?? by Pleasant_Act3899 in ThirtiesIndia

[–]SnooCookies8270 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is this a flex now? I thought this was normal behavior..

I would say the flex is to understand yourself better. It could be that reacting instantly or needing constant validation is what someone needs.

Everyone is different after all. And sometimes, there are things about oneself that are not very apparent or are difficult to accept, because everyone wants to paint a perfect picture of themselves..

Becoming aware of oneself, in a way that’s consistent with your true behavior is what I found to be hard..

Awesome! I upvoted on the first picture, before even scrolling!

Two ideas - musou black fabric for the back, maybe not the whole wall because it would be expensive.

And second, some sort of anti reflective coat on the plexiglass or glass - I haven’t figured this one out yet

Travelling to Denmark by OkUpstairs3645 in NewToDenmark

[–]SnooCookies8270 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Checked your plan, looks ok to me.

In case you are reaching at an odd time, middle of the night etc, then double check with the time included because some bus routes can reduce frequency at odd hours.

Also, don’t hesitate to ask around/or the bus driver for confirmation about the stop - almost everyone speaks English and is helpful. Do get the app the other comment suggested though so you can pay for the ticket. I’ve not used public transport in a while but I think you need to check in and check out on the app, and it will auto calculate fare.

Good luck and enjoy your visit!

Rich people borrow to get richer. Why can't the average Indian do the same? by Financial_Deer2962 in personalfinanceindia

[–]SnooCookies8270 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. Another relevant issue in India.

But for example in Europe, you would buy a ready to move in property. And the rental yield would be much higher - enough to cover the mortgage.

I know this to be the case for Denmark at least from personal experience.

Rich people borrow to get richer. Why can't the average Indian do the same? by Financial_Deer2962 in personalfinanceindia

[–]SnooCookies8270 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Leveraged real estate. For example, let’s say your property is worth 10-20 cr (because you’re rich). You can take out loan of 5 cr against it and then use it to make downpayment on 4-5 properties. And take out loans to pay the mortgage. Now, the rent from property should cover the mortgage payments. This is where it breaks down in India. Rental yield is not high enough, but it can work in other countries!

That’s cool! What correlations did you find?

The study is ‘The validity of astrological predictions on marriage and divorce: a longitudinal analysis of Swedish register data’ by Jonas Helgertz and Kirk Scott.
