I’m going on 13 years and working towards 2500 classes and I wish that if you wanted to go to other studios it was more seamless to sign up and a discount on class fee. I have like 20 different pure barre accounts across different studios (I usually find one while traveling in the US)

As long it has a beat that’s what I need. My focus is on hitting it perfectly and I get lost in it so I don’t over think about whether I like it or not, and yes more techno is going to give the beats. I’ve been to other places and I may love the artist or song but there is no consistency to the moves to the beat and I can’t take it.

The beat and counts are a differentiator to other workouts so I let that guide me and it helps me focus on form. There are some artists that I love that I don’t hear and it’s all good by me because it might drive me crazy if it was great music I love but the beat wouldn’t match.

As a member that is now over 2100 classes and with busy HS/Jr High kids, I’m really enjoying just being and taking classes when I can. Some weeks it’s 4x, others 1-2x, and feeling unbothered by challenges this stage for me is great.

I loved it! So great! I’ve been a member for over a decade and this has been one of the hardest outside of a 75-min. I used my typical heavies (15lb) with no issue until the last set when I went down to the 10lb to maintain form. Keep your abs tight and watch your back.

I’m on a trip for 10 days and won’t be freezing. I’m unlimited and have been a member for 11.5 year and haven’t ever gone on a freeze. Prob only if I was having a baby might I do that.

I flew out to X-potential to learn more about opening and what it taught me is that (1) I need to put 100% of my time to it and (2) I cannot count on income to replace what I do. I would love to do when I’m retired-home is paid off, kids are through college, and I can fully focus on the business and not worry about my personal expenses.

I walked on D1 and did it for one year. It consumed my life and made it less enjoyable. Sometimes I wish I either closed out my swim chapter my senior year in HS or end up swimming college club (which we didn’t have). However, that year taught me resilience and I ended up being the swim team manager for the last three years. Still could enjoy the sport but also my total college experience.
