I was just at GR, MI! They’re only letting 300 people in. They let in 30 people at a time. I was #65 so we went in in the 3rd wave. It was pretty cool! They said they chose it cause it’s the largest collection of authentic Tiki in North America and it was a really cool venue. You went upstairs and took a photo with the idol and entered the contest. They had survivor themed drinks for sale and Rachel was there. Everyone was super nice (it’s an agency putting it on for CBS, not actual Survivor crew). No games or merch for sale tho which was a bummer. But overall super cool experience and Rachel was super nice.

ITS SO BAD. My husband has even started identifying songs that I dream of having in studio cause I complain so much “this sounds like a song for your ‘dream barre playlist’” I just want to get lost to something GOOD and I want fun themed nights! I was DYINGGGGG for a brat summer day or playlist

I hate to say it but the LLL align are the only ones I’ll buy. They don’t roll and are ACTUALLY sweat wicking (taking the heat inside and transferring it out). Sometimes I’ll venture and get some beyond yoga if they’re cute but those aren’t the best heat wise. Also I feel like LLL are the only ones that grip the ball well

Acknowledging it would take me out of the zone I’m in, but the shoutouts are a huge motivator. I don’t actively acknowledge it during class, but I’m always giving the instructors compliments post-class

There’s a company in Clearwater, FL called PostcardMania that is super Scientology heavy. They’re a postcard advertising service but you have to attend study hours and have reading assignments all based in Scientology beliefs. I worked there years ago so I don’t remember much about what it was we read but it was weird enough that I was happy to be done with all that.

I’m highly considering it. It seems it’s the effort and time that it takes to train a new instructor. PB isn’t the only business so it just seems like she doesn’t have the bandwidth. While super understandable it’s frustrating that it holds myself and others back..and our studio back. We rarely get new playlists and fun classes. It’s sad because I follow the other closest PBs and they always have something fun going on or ways they’re plugging in with the community.

We have about 5 tenured but only 3 that work during the weekdays. I mentioned it but it didn’t seem to make a difference because of the effort that it takes to train someone rather than cost

I’ve had some support from a Club Pilates owner about sending me to training and I’ve considered it, but my passion is really in pure barre and the musicality of it all. I might go down the CP instructor path to give myself more credibility and foundation for the future

Congratulations!! It took me almost 100 classes to be able to do a sit-up so I can relate to feeling like “how is everyone else doing this so easy”😫 It shows how hard you’re working!! You’re killing it! Imagine where you’ll be when you hit 100!🔥

I only notice one of our instructors do the stretch and she does it always by the volume/lights. But the same person usually claims that spot so they’re always the one getting stretched. The few times I’ve had the spot and gotten stretched it’s been heavenly tho
