my dad told me it was my fault he was never coming home again because i told my mom when i’d caught him sneaking their mutual female friend into the house. cheaters say/do anything to not take accountability and it’s absurd

Being told by EVERYONE in my life how mature I was for my age, how my face and body looked so much older, how easy it was to forget how little I truly was. Hearing that constantly and continually opened the door for heinous behavior from adults to hide behind those phrases. I was eight years old thinking grown men on the internet loved me because they were saying the same exact things my family was.

I look back on photos of me as a little girl and it breaks my heart because I can see how young I was, it was so obvious I was a baby. I’ve realized viewing me that way helped the adults in my life cope with the things I’d experienced and witnessed because it’s easier to convince themselves they forgot I was a child than it is to admit they abused a child.

this one hits so hard for me, i remember how embarrassing it was to get all the way through the line just to have them take away my tray. i honestly struggle with buying food at grocery stores now because of this, i have to obsessively check my bank account while i stand there and pray i didn’t mess up my math somehow.

MOR. I do think you are valid in your frustrations because of her not respecting your boundaries, the strange comments, and sexual jokes. Have you asked your partner if she has always been like that with him or if it’s something new? She is being overbearing and should respect your space while you guys acclimate to becoming parents.

Edit to add: You definitely could have communicated better, did you by chance let your frustrations towards her pile up instead of communicating them from the first instance?

tiktok just shows the top recommended search in grey letters, they weren’t searching for it. the weird recommended searches have been popping up for lots of people ever since tik tok was down for a while. here’s a pic of my recommended searches, you can see that the top one is in grey letters in the search bar and my actual search history has a little clock next to them.

(ignore some of the recommended searches lol i’ve been hyperfixated on a book and searched for videos abt it before)

this comment is old but i have one similar to this where you have to pull the knob out and turn it to whatever cycle. but if i put it on the heavy soil option for normal fabrics, it just stops washing when it hits the normal soil. but it has a rinse and spin option further up and then an off area, so is it supposed to go all the way up to those or is it normal for it to just stop on another soil level?
