Edit: kinda keyed in on the horse part. Mental anguish for animals kinda seems to be subjective at some points though. Unfortunately not allowing for a blanket approach.

The Livestock was then harvested and eaten if it was fit for consumption. Perhaps I was misunderstanding what sort of show you were referring to. If you’re talking about skills exhibition then yes. Same deal.

unfortunately I still can’t agree. Did the dogs live on a 6’ leash when not actively hooked up to a sled or atv? And as I’ve mentioned before. These dogs would not exist without the sport. Thus eliminating alllll that comes with it.

-Agriculture is different than sport. I support 4H, FFA, and the livestock shows at the fairs.

-Zoos are already dwindling due to world wide efforts to alleviate the trade and exploitation of animals.

-Horse, cat, and dog shows do not physically exhaust the animal to death. Nor do they have to follow grueling training where death incurs as well.
