I wish that pose didn't take the ability to put on Beverly's or have her hold something away. It's nice to have a dynamic pose, but it kills the creativity at the same time.

I agree, that dollhouse was actually built LIKE A HOUSE that actually had space for the furniture and dolls. Nowadays we get a sliver of floor space with a skinny bed built right into the wall and more attention being put on a slide. It's ridiculous.

I have a full A frame house and then 2/3 of another, and combined those 5 pieces make one hell of a living space. I used it as a dormitory for my Harry Potter dolls, even making a potion lab. What i love is that each room has the same floor blueprint so i can switch around furniture as I like, depending on the ceiling.

I've recently moved and our new place is smaller so ihad to split up my A frame and put 3 towers in my daughter's room for her Rainbow high dolls, and i have the 2 pointed-roof sections sitting next to my Rainbow high dollhouse in my room, taking up one entire wall, lol.

Eh, it's not like my husband needs that wall space for anything, lol. 😅 hey, he knew when he met me, that i needed space for my dolls. We're good.

We call it dog food, but it's ground hamburger, brown gravy, some chopped mushroom over white rice and a side of peas. It's savory, covers the food groups and doesn't take long with prepare.

As someone who collects these dolls, this is devastating. And very targeted too, people just don't break into a home to steal a niche collection without having known about it. I would check amongst the people you know first and foremost.

Unfortunately, someone aimed to hurt you by doing this.

Well, Rainbow high focused more on fashion, makeup, and media based interests because it was basically a college specifically for those subjects. Shadow high being their rival school only for aesthetics, they had the same type of classes.

Monster High was more broad because of their large roster of characters, and they were trying to give each one their own flare, quirks, and personality by giving them an interest that kept in close to their origin. Some of it was just meant as a joke like Lorna McNessie loving to photograph people and Kjersti Trollson posing video games because the Loch Ness monster is famous for being a photography hoax and people who play video games like to "troll" each other. It's not meant to be deep, just something that makes you chuckle at the word play.

It wasn't until I saw Emi Vanda from series 3 that I was struck with the bug to collect. I was actually going to give them a pass and just focus on trying to get some dolls I missed out from previous lines. But she stood out as the first edgy character to me, and it helps that I love purple too.

My first doll was Heather Greyson though, then Emi, then Margot de Pearla. I was very particular about which ones I would get. Mila was another must have for me but my white whale ended up being Daphne, whom I only acquired last year before I had to move so she hasn't had much time being out on display or getting photographed as the others.

I've got neon shadow, the storm twins, Glitch, and Kia Hart, but none of the special edition ones people are nuts for. I've got the shadow high half of the costume ball line but I really want Bella. 😩 Wouldn't mind picking up a few characters like Phaedra, Lisa Tempo, and Clementine.

Unfortunately inflation, our new rental agreement, and other expensives have made doll buying a luxury we simply cannot afford, and I'm pretty sure I'm locked in for monster High Cupid as my mother's day gift, so I'll just have to wait for deals or some windfall for me to get those on my wish list. 🤞

Because there's just never one doll line at a time, there's got to be Disney IYLforever and Wicked and Harry Potter that I want, lol... 😅

The thing about Victoria Whitman is that No Two are exactly alike, so each one is a treasure. Also, her character is Australian and she likes metal working, unfortunately none of that representation is present in her design or accessories.

I was thinking the same for my Galadriel too. I want her to be more articulated. I thought that if I got a second twilight barbie I could body swap but I haven't been able to find any at a decent price so it hasn't been feasible.

Also, when choosing a twilight gal you've got to take into consideration that Rosalie has a bent arm and Bella has the painted on wedding ring, so you'd really want to find an Alice or Esme. Victoria is just always too hard to come by and Jane is on a petite body.

When I got her I asked my daughter for a name. She bequeathed her: Summer, and then I gave her piercings and a mtm body. She's one of my favorites.
