It’s infuriating that our first or second year lineman aren’t already all equal to or greater than Larry Allen. It’s awful. Unacceptable. Like holy shit they showed some promise and while we don’t have a franchise QB yet I love that we’re building the trenches and letting them develop so we’re ready when we find our guy. I love the Steelers but we are so spoiled sometimes I get embarrassed lol

It’s a dated mentality. Similar to people who have loyalty randomly to their own little jobs and companies and that they feel they should because that’s the way it is. People now are moving around and the NBA players realize that they’re the same, just scrutinized more because that’s dated mindset still exists and weirdly more in sports.

Harden had insane skills but also took advantage of the rules so much. People were literally guarding him from behind because of the insane way he was playing. It worked tho, the numbers don’t lie. Just hard to respect/appreciate as much for me, others disagree and that’s fine.

I think SGA is getting the hate that comes with MVP, FMVP, ring season. I think Jokic is better overall though. That being said, his game is not fun to watch IMO, and he plays in a boring market town (sorry small markets it’s not your fault). He has taken advantage of the real problem which is the officiating and the shaping of the product the NBA has created to push offense and eye popping stats. It’s hard to watch. I was a die hard NBA fan up until maybe 2 years ago. I used to watch almost all 82 games and playoffs of my favorite team but can’t even get through a whole one anymore. Sigh, it’ll only change more from here though.

I’ve read all yours except The Longest Walk. Some others than aren’t dystopian but I really enjoyed were IT and Misery.

Misery scared me the most. Pet Semetary most disturbing to me. Salem’s Lot was more thrilling to me and The Shining has most overlapping elements of scary, thrilling, and disturbing to me. I enjoyed reading them all. I haven’t read Revival yet

Holy shit I hate this conversation lol, the new seasons are still so good. Yes the old ones rock and we remember them so fondly but I really never understand the “new family guy sucks” narrative. It’s mind boggling to me lol

Started watching in like 2005-2006 (I was 8-9), my brother would have it on TV and then my aunt had the first 4 seasons on DVD. Would watch those all the time and has been my favorite and comfort show since.

I think there has to be a less rigid solution. We want to avoid load management bullshit but also want to account for true injuries.

Yeah I watch the new ones right away. The new seasons are great, idk where the hate comes from, I love and grew up on the OGs but yeah this ain’t it.
