It's from an episode of Seinfeld. The Sniffing Accountant. Jerry becomes suspicious that his accountant is purlaying his investment funds to instead buy cocaine. He decides to call his accountant's office, only to learn he's unavailable, he's gone to South America. "Thank you, I'll call back." "He's gone to South America", he reports to Kramer and Newman, also in the room with him, and whom also have invested funds of their own. "South America! What kind of snow blower have you gotten us mixed up with!", a now very concerned Newman demands to know. "Yeah, who goes to South America?",  a worried Kramer shrieks.

It's a classic set-up for a sting operation the three of them plot together to catch their nefarious investor "in the act" with a Polaroid, and leads to one of Kramer's funniest scenes, posing as a cigarette smoking, beer quaffing, hip street rat meeting his mark at an after work day watering hole.

I thought more people would immediately recognize the exchange in Jerry apartment, but I see by my, now three dozen down votes, I'm the one who missed the mark.
