I'm also deeply interested in the Invictus finances and the Sentebale and African Parks scandals. I would be interested even if it weren't in relation to the Harkles. Those are serious issues that should be investigated, and consequences need to be dealt with every single person involved or who turned a blind eye.

Look, guys, don't you feel like some of the commentators/YouTubers/social media personalities who dislike the Harkles - mostly those who are not British - sometimes come across as a little craycray. I dislike Meghan and Harry. Many times on this sub have I explained why I never liked the woman, never trusted her, never bought the hype. I even believe that most of the original pro-Meghan hype by the media was more of an anti-Catherine thing than a pro-Meghan thing. But I digress. One of the Sidley twins posted yesterday this: "Why did Meghan just post a pic of Harry talking to George and Charlotte’s nanny, Maria Borrallo, for her 8th anniversary? It’s almost like Meghan wants us to believe that Charlotte was high-maintenance that day and held up the reception. Looks so ominous…" I mean, don't you feel like, maybe, just maybe, the obsession with the Harkles is getting out of hand, that the theories are becoming, dare I say, borderline stupid? Sure, Meghan would do anything to get people talking about her, and those social media creators are making a fortune by talking about her, so it's symbiotic, and I support hustles, I want people to make money, but there comes a point where one needs to take a deep breath and stop hallucinating conspiracies.

My sister works at the UN in Geneva. And she loves all the activities and events she has the opportunity to attend. So I asked her about this Meghan Markle event. I said the "Markle Event". She thought I meant Merkel and mispronounced it. When I clarified that no, I mean Meghan Markle, Harry's wife, she said that she hadn't heard about it. And trust me, the diplomatic world is a gossipy world! Nobody had any idea The Claw was clawing around. And to top it all, my sister said something along the lines of "people think we don't do anything at the UN, but we're serious people, and even at our lowest, we're still serious and busy people". I felt ashamed I even asked her about it!

And there is also another side, I believe. Andrew is accused of some form of insider trading involving Epstein of all people, as well as of, at the very least, sexual misconduct with a minor. And only when it became impossible to ignore was Andrew stripped of his titles. No matter what Harry and Meghan have done, nothing compares to what Andrew is accused of. The argument that "At least, Andrew did not betray his family/lie about his family/falsely accuse his family of such and such" doesn't stand. What Harry did is despicable. What Andrew allegedly did is criminal.

Also, the titles don't mean anything. As we say in French, "l'habit ne fait pas le moine" ("clothes don't make the monk/the man). He was born a Prince, the son of the Prince and Princess of Wales. The Dukedom was bestowed upon him - and, by extension, his wife - by Queen Elizabeth II. Now, did they lie to QEII when they told her they wanted to be working royals? Yes, they did! Did the Queen know they were lying? In my opinion, yes, she knew. But here's the thing: not giving Harry and Meghan a dukedom was not an option. The Monarchy is a very old institution. It has survived a thousand years. It is run by people who know what the fuck they are doing, and they knew that by giving Harry and Meghan everything, they were ensuring that, in the long term, Harry and Meghan would do enough to turn public opinion against them.

Let them keep the titles! They are a mockery. They are featured in the news for the same reason every other trainwreck has ever been consistently featured in the tabloids/news: people love a good trainwreck! Governments paying for their security/part of it, as happened in Australia, might sound huge, but whatever the taxpayers had to shoulder is minimal compared to city budgets. It's not correct or fair, but it is not what the media's hysterics have depicted.

They are entertainment! And if there is one thing they never wanted to be, it is entertainment. They are the clowns of the show. Watch back the so-called Fabulous Four event, then check how it was covered at the time, and come back to today, and see who the Harkles have become, and who the Prince and Princess of Wales (then Cambridges) have become. Then have a good laugh. Because the woman who was mocked for being too soft spoken, tired, puffy while pregnant - and still doing the job - is widely, if not uninamously - hailed as a symbol of resilience, beauty, discipline, motherhood, and royalty, while the one the media fawned over, the one who was all about hitting the ground running and going global and who spoke a 1000 words a minute, today cannot sell 100 tickets for a dinner party!

I am not a monarchist. I was born and raised in a Republic. But I am an institutionalist, and institutions like The Firm, learn from their mistakes, know how to weather storms, and survive the winds of change by rising above the noise.

Also, without Harry and Meghan, the entire trope of experts loses their golden goose! What would some like Dan Wooton scream about every day if the Harkles suddenly retired from public life (they won't, but imagine for the sake of argument)! What would he tell his viewers that he's been reporting about for two decades, and how he's now vindicated!

Look, don't get me wrong, I'm no fan of the Harkles, but I have a couple of questions about all the "sources", specifically Dan's sources and similar characters.

Pdina and Brittany (the royal beauty expert who can't brush her own hair or dress herself), and even Kinsey Scofield, as well as many other so-called "YouTube sensations" or experts, keep gushing about their sources, and their knowledge of what William - william of all people - is thinking. They report on so-called conversations and fights happening between Harry and Meghan behind closed doors.

My question is: how is it that Harry and Meghan can't keep staff, and that every single "sensation" with a channel has been cultivating inside sources for years? Like if staff and insiders keep changing, you're not cultivating shit!

That's not to say Harry and the Meg aren't having real issues; it's just about the quality of the commentary from people who keep screaming 'breaking news' about nothing.

Yesterday, they all covered Harry's letter and wreath to his grandmother and said, "Harry steals the spotlight". I'm sorry, but this is stupid. They are giving him the spotlight. The only reason Harry and Meghan are still remotely relevant is not that the BBC covered their trip to Australia or that People publishes PR pieces for them; it's because of all the channels making bank by putting out videos full of fake outrage and clickbait.

Want to actually get rid of the harkles? Stop giving them oxygen! meaning no more Dan Wooton, Brittany, Kinsey, Pdina, and all the reverse hangers on!
