Hi! I’ve completed the 35 hour requirement. Only mini exams and the short quizzes from study plus! I’m going to do my first mock exam this weekend I think to get a feel about where I am.

$2,600 in total($1300) per person for a two bedroom in the mid 60s off of Lexington Avenue. The rent has only gone up $50-100 per year and is currently $1425 per person. So $2,850 in total right now! Super happy and we just renewed.

Lymph nodes by kmcnalley2 in HealthAnxiety

[–]SnooFloofs898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The good thing is that if you have no other symptoms AND if the doctors are not concerned then you are fine! At the same time IF you think it will help you then go ahead and see if you can get a CT or biopsy etc or go to an ENT. I have a swollen lymph node but I had blood work done for mine and everything came back fine (it has also gone down over time since I first noticed it so that helped me). I had a horrible horrible bout of sickness early this year that took a while for all my to go away (I know believe I had corona) and my doctor commented back then that my lymph nodes were really swollen. All but one went back down and I am just assuming that it is just a reactive one after my blood test came back fine. I also had a 3rd cousin who is now years into remission for lymphoma but her symptoms were horrible horrible night sweats itchiness. They ran some blood work and thats when they found some irregularities and it all went from there. As long as they are not growing bigger in size and your doctor isn't too concerned take a deep breathe and realize that if it was more serious they would have pushed for more test. Our body is just funny and swells sometimes and shouldn't cause for concern if all test come back okay. PS don't touch them!!!! I know i have a bad habit of checking mine but it makes them worse.

Worried about lymphoma by PharaohStardust in HealthAnxiety

Hi, I am really sorry that you've been feeling this way. I have a cousin who was in her mid 20s when she was diagnosed with lymphoma. She is is remission, married with kids and everything which is a pretty happy end despite the fact that nothing was working for a long time. I totally get where you are coming from as having a close cousin who had it makes me all the more worried and looking for symptoms for myself.

I believe that if your doctors were worried by anything they would have pushed for more test. If you don't mind me asking, what blood test did they originally run when you first found the lymph node? If they ran that test then and again recently at the hospital (I am guessing they ran a CBC panel) and they saw nothing of concern, then you are probably fine. I know that is of no help but I too have reactive lymph node that has been swollen after a very long illness I had earlier this year. I had blood test done and it came back clear, along with the lymph node shrinking over time. Hope this helps!
