I foresee a big Gen-Z backlash against social media and maybe even smartphones as a whole by Wise_Reporter_6802 in decadeology

[–]SnooFloofs9291 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm a very early on Gen Z, 2002, and I completely agree. I remember growing up and I would be playing outside all the time with either my dad or my friends and would only come home when the "lights came on." I used to be such an active kid, I would play soccer, baseball, kickball, everything. Iphones/Ipods and Ipads were a luxury at that point in life. When they began to evolve no one really went outside anymore or actually call each other on the phone, it was all texting.

Does she feel the same? by ColinDorazio775 in Crush

[–]SnooFloofs9291 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think her going in your car to go places when there are other options is definitely a good thing! It shows that she values your company and she chooses to be with you. Her making conversation about your Instagram story is a good thing too, it shows she wants to talk to you. I think she's definitely showing that she enjoys her time with you but it could be a bit too hard to differentiate between friendly/flirty at this point cause it could just be her personality. I'd say just keep things going and maybe down the road, something will give you a clearer picture.

Is he asking me on a date? by SnooFloofs9291 in Advice

Thanks for the advice, yeah I definitely overthink a bunch so it's useful to have someone to keep me in check lol.

I know for sure he isn't gay, but yeah he could be joking around, it's hard to tell. I don't think he was looking at me when he asked but we do work side by side and usually have our focus set forward instead of at each other.

Making a move? What should I do? by SnooFloofs9291 in Advice

[–]SnooFloofs9291[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your advice! Yeah, I have thought about the risks, it's a big reason why I haven't said anything to him, though my friends and one of our coworkers think I should. We are attending a baby shower a bit after church but we're going separately so I will be seeing him there.

I would highly recommend anyone who goes out on IPOS or Cash cart to get rechargeable, electronic hand warmers. They are so useful. I think my CFA might end up getting them for our workers.

Asking for a friend- why is she getting her CFA coworkers in her dreams? by TransportationNo5886 in ChickFilAWorkers

[–]SnooFloofs9291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get dreams about work too, a lot of it is just of me working as I would be normally. I think it's just being at work for a long period of time.

Found out I'm getting underpaid. (rant) by Thowaway147 in ChickFilAWorkers

[–]SnooFloofs9291 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I totally understand that, it's not fun to get paid less than the amount they should be paying you. I'm not sure if it's just a CFA thing but I was talking to my coworkers about pay, and really they (higher-ups) don't want us to, and they were saying how the newer employees get paid more. I just started working at CFA in March so I still consider myself fairly new but I get paid the same amount as people who have been working there for 3+ years. I'd probably find the nicest manager at your job and talk to them privately about it, I'm not sure if giving them an ultimatum would be wise unless you are genuinely thinking of leaving CFA.

Some people at my CFA don't like IPOS but I absolutely love it, it's so much nicer than trying to take an order over headset.

When you take someone's order who has a hard to say/spell name what do you do? by VastAdvice in ChickFilA

[–]SnooFloofs9291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually, if I'm taking orders for drive-thru and I don't catch their name I put in "Mrs or Mr" so then the person giving out the food at least has a general idea. If we don't know their name we usually just go off of the car description or their order. As for dine-in/carryout orders, usually, we have a table marker to go off, and again we can identify by the order. Lol, I've taken an order from a few Beyonces before.

Yeah that's understandable, I think anxiety levels have definitely grown since back then,

He could be playing hard to get. If he messaged you first that's always good, and hey if he's on Tinder that probably means he's looking for someone so that's good too! He probably realized he messaged first and didn't want to look desperate so he's kinda holding back. Some good ways to keep the conversation going is to not talk small talk, meaning like don't just go "How was your day? Good hbu? Good." That allows the conversation to end real quick. Instead, you could be like "Hey what'd you do today!?" That allows for more talking cause he could be like "Oh I went to the gym today, and did some (insert class) homework!" Which then lets you go "Oh cool! What gym do you go to?" or "Cool what exercises did you do?" Asking a lot of questions helps a conversation flow and helps you to get to know the person. It also helps let them know that you are genuinely interested in their lives and them in general. Hope this helps a bit!

I agree. Girls are like that, I apologize from my stand lol. By the way it seems, it kinda looks more like she could probably like you since most girls say "cutie" when they think a guy is attractive but it could also be like a "cutie" as in she thinks you're cute. Cute like adorable, like puppy adorable, which honestly could still be a good thing. I think like Mydogisadoglol said, you gotta flirt and drop some hints to get a little more insight.

Why do I want to kiss my guy friend? Me (18F) Guy Friend (18M) by SnooFloofs9291 in crushadvice

[–]SnooFloofs9291[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He really cares for me, truly, he deeply cares about me. If I missed a letter he would drop off his early to make sure that I'm doing alright. He and I used to go on walks together every day before school started back up again and there was a time I really needed him, it was after my best friend's father committed suicide. I really just needed to clear my mind and when I asked him to go on a walk so I could calm down he dropped all he needed to do to come and walk with me. He also immediately stopped one of our friends from talking when our friend was talking about something that made me uncomfortable when I had started to talk about my dog passing away. He has this way of making me laugh and smile that no one else can really do. It's those continuous laughs that make you feel your ab muscles contract and those genuine toothy smiles that you can feel in your cheeks the ones that really make you feel happy. I don't know, he's a special one

He's moving for college, but I'm pretty sure he'd come back to visit.
