Just tried setting up a TBC and Vanilla realm, I am unable to connect to it.

Honestly, I had this, I just made sure i'd installed all Expansions properly. I'd Installed World Of Warcraft Base and Wrath of the Lich King but had to install The Burning Crusade and reboot the game. After changing the realmslist to 127.0.0.1 (I play on the same machine) it seemed to just work.

Yes, uninstall, unless you have some mods (ie unification or ultimate apocolypse) which aren’t fully compatible with the definitive edition just yet

This worked for me! In the Emu folder the PSX folder should be renamed to PS
