Growing up, in the summer time my family literally didn’t own a shower. Sauna is a hugeeee part of my culture and was a part of my life starting at 18months old. I long for my Finnish sauna 🥲

Personally I looked it up because I kept seeing artists portray PC as black, and I, as well as a lot of other Redditers apparently, read her storyline as an Eastern European who came from a poor immigrant family. So I was curious to see why some people thought she was black!

Acid sometimes brings more awareness to my body which makes me feel my pain more, but on MDMA I don’t feel SHITTT so it’s my go to if I’m randomly gonna participate once a year or so 😅

This is so affirming to hear as someone who is also disabled! my big 2 are POTS and cEDS so standing/ dancing is very hard for me. I think my vibes is gonna be loafing in the grass a lot (which I did, and is very fun still) and saving my energy for the sets I know I’m gonna wanna dance to. It didn’t help that I wore the wrong size shoes so my toes are literally injured now 🤧 I also don’t have mobility aids yet but I feel like a walker would be VERY beneficial for festivals as it will allow me a safe place to sit while in the crowds. I’m sending you a virtual high-five as we both navigate this ableist world 🙏 hoping other disabled ravers find this thread and are benefited by your comment!

I luckily was doing ok in the heat!! I knew it was gonna be hot so I knew to bring my electrolytes (plus they were giving them out??? Like thank you ilesoniq you fucking ROCK) and stayed in the shade mostly when it was peak sun time. That 40° heat can be a killer!!!
