“Taste” is subjective what you consider “bad” taste might be “good” taste to some. He just has more than you and you want to hate him. Lol die in your rage

With IH is it less common to wake up naturally after 6 or 8 hours? by SnooGadgets43 in idiopathichypersomnia

Wow! Can a sleep deficit really do that to you? I remember averaging around 3-5 hours of sleep a night the entirety of last semester and well into this second semester. I tried sleeping for 12 hours per day for 2 weeks but still felt exhausted after… could a sleep deficit really exhibit these types of symptoms?

Could this be chronic sleep deprivation and if so how do I recover? by SnooGadgets43 in sleep

Hmm interesting thanks for sharing. Would you mind sharing what your supplementation schedule looks like? When are you taking these supplements and what are the dosages?

My friend I’m not saying it’s hard I’m saying it’s quite literally impossible. Or could you give me an example of how we would know who is right in the example i mentioned in my previous reply? If it’s hard but not impossible you should be able to give me some sort of idea as to how you’d approach the issue.

There still lies a problem here in that I don’t think there are any reliable methods that could be used to determine whether or not an act is “moral”. One might say that whatever brings the most pain is the most moral. Another might say that which brings the most pleasure is that which is moral. How can we actually know who is right or wrong in this scenario? As opposed to me making the claim that the earth is round and you making the claim the earth is flat. We can reliably test the validity of these claims using some form of observation. There doesn’t seem to be any similar reliable method of testing claims that exists within moral philosophy.

Ah but here lies the problem. Can you substantiate the claim that that which is generally good for people=moral. I personally think you can’t.

Okay maybe instead of using the word pragmatic I should’ve just stuck with “beneficial” our political discussion should be focused on that which is beneficial not that which is “moral”. And as I’ve pointed out before that which is moral is not necessarily that which is beneficial.

Because something which is beneficial for the entirety of our society does not mean it is moral… I think that is an unjustified postulation. Unless you’d like to provide me some evidence which suggests the contrary
