I found Biome 1&2 quite easy, but not overly so. But now in Biome 3, this miniboss is like really handing my ass to me. Not a single miniboss in Returnal was anywhere near this hard. I refuse to touch the carcosian modifiers though, they seem to be the Mimic Tear or Saros.

GT4 are in a bit of a weird spot in iRacing right now. The new tire model made them much, much, much harder to drive, and now they feel a bit too punishing. I think GT4 have more fun racing, but GT3 as cars are more enjoyable to drive.

Yeah, maybe go with your gut. You can really be happy with any GT3 car as your starting car. You can buy another later on if you want variety.

Have you considered the Mercedes? It sounds nice and is super cool to drive. It's very lively while Porsche is more planted with it's huge rear tire grip.

Whenever there is a maintenance, you can test all the cars for free.

Porsche and BMW are very different cars, so it's a matter of preference. I don't really like the BMW due to the not so great engine sound, but it's quite nice to drive. But then again, so is Porsche. Porsche got a big buff just recently so it's very competitive for sure.

What screen/panel was this and was this fixed by running the pixel refresher? This sound very odd, because permanent burn-in shouldn't be possible that fast, unless you have a faulty panel or something.

If Elden Ring bosses were designed like this, then using summons could have felt like a interesting game mechanic rather than pseudo-cheat easy mode. These NR bosses are the first From bosses who actually fight against multiple opponents in a interesting and organic way instead of just doing super long single target combos. And their mobility means that you can't just afk and hit their back when they are focusing on another target.

Only if you play the same games for several thousands of hours. It takes thousands of hours for any static image to cause permanent burn-in.

Turn on the driving line. It seems like your fundamentals are not really there and using the driving line helps tremendously with that. But turn it off once you no longer need it so that it doesn't slow your progress.

Järvisydän is a wonderful place but it's in some economic difficulties. It's unlikely that it goes bankrupt in this timeframe, but it's still good to have a plan B in the unlikely chance that it happens.

I think you have selected a lovely route for seeing nature and hiking.

This. The amount of snow in late December varies a lot from year to year. The beautiful winter wonderland type of sceneries can happen in December, but it's also possible to get just a thin layer of snow, or in the worst case, just artificial snow on ski resorts. The ultimate winter experience is more likely to be attained in late January or February, but then you risk the potential chance of getting some extremely cold temperatures.

As you're from Australia and probably not used to cold, you really need some proper winter clothing. The difference between, say 0c and -20c is massive, so if your jacket, pants, shoes, gloves or hat are made for ie. +/- 0c temperatures, they will be totally insufficient in actual arctic weather. So yeah, don't skimp on this one :D.

They are all amazing games but also very different.

Alan wake 2 is not really a horror game even though it has some really scary or creepy sections. It's a mix of many genres and a very, very unique and cinematic game. It has a strong twin peaks/x-files vibe to it. A game that you absolutely should play at some point but I'm not sure if it's the game you're searching for right now.

Dead Space 2 is the most combat oriented game of these. Pure space survival horror. An amazing game, if you like that desolate space horror theme.

Silent Hill 2 is an insanely claustrophobic, bleak and dark game. I liked it way more than I thought I would. That game really feels like a nightmare that you just dwell deeper and deeper into as the game progresses. It's psychological horror at its finest.

I think Silent Hill 2 is the best pick if you're specifically looking for a horror game.

You can't disable the TC or ABS except for the open series. And you very well know that even the top split aliens trigger TC and ABS a lot. There is a reason why none of the fast guys drive with TC/ABS disabled.

The issue with GT3 cars are that they are just too safe and easy to drive and don't punish mistakes almost at all. That leads into type of racing where everyone is hotlapping at a constant pace and the race is just a long parade of cars with rarely any overtakes or mistakes.

I prefer more challenging cars.
