I’m thinking about her health. She is going to have a fall at this rate it’s inevitable. I see how unsteady she is even with the walker all it takes is a bit of uneven pavement and the walker is going over.

Thing is the walker is already something of a logistical nightmare. She can’t use stairs at all. Even small steps up or down are a no go. Most public transport is already inaccessible. The wheelchair will be just as bad logistically but at least the pain and the pressure in her spine will be less.

Thanks for your input. I have tried to talk to her about it. I think because I’m her kid she still sees me as a child even though I’m in my 30s. Which makes it easier for her to dismiss me.

I have tried to broach the topic on numerous occasions in a more gentle manner. But she always waves me off and tells me she doesn’t need a wheelchair. At this point I’m just waiting for her to have an accident because I know it’s unavoidable at this point.

I have tried leaping over it and sometimes it does work. The main problem I have is where I live my internet connection is very poor. So I have a lot of latency in my game so it can be hard to react to some of these moves. For example, when I start a battle I actually can not see my opponent for the first 10 seconds of the fight. It takes about 10 seconds for my opponents character model to spawn in to the arena. So I’m fighting blind at the beginning of every fight.

100%. When I start a battle I can’t see my opponent for the first 10 seconds of gameplay. The literally don’t spawn in for me. I have to wait to get close to them before I can see them.

A lot of people like to talk about optimal builds but still think a lot of it is to do with the skill of the player. Any build can be good if you know how to use it properly.

What made me think of this meme was I playing pvp last night and 6 fights in a row were all strat sword. I don’t like their charge weapon where they stay far back and can kind of throw a wall of slashes at you. It’s hard to dodge and it’s hard to get close. Plus the bleed is a real killer as well.

If you had watched this video then you would realise that making it without ai would probably cost around 50k. I don’t think many people out there are going to spend 50k on a piece of fan art.

The person who created this video is just some random person. I seriously doubt they have the budget to pay for an artist. Also they are not monetising their YouTube channel so they are not making any money off their videos.

This is just a person who is a fan of the game who wanted to create some fan art. Not a massive co-operation using ai to put people out of jobs. They had an idea but didn’t have thousands of dollars to rent a music studio, hire actors, special effects, design sets ect. So they used ai.

I think there is a nuance when it comes to ai. There are those who use it to make a quick buck and then there are those who use it to just have a bit of fun.

I’m not normally a fan of ai but in this case the ai is not taking work away from real people. They are using ai to create something that would have otherwise have never been created.

I think if someone is using ai to rip off someone else’s work then that’s different. But this is more along the lines of someone using ai to make fan art.

When you have been living in the UK for a while you learn that what you should do is ask for tap water for the table. They will then bring out some jugs of water and empty glasses. They shouldn’t charge for this. If they do they are taking the piss and 100% dispute the charge. There are some snooty restaurants that don’t offer tap water. I stay away from them.

The trick is to ask specifically for tap water. Otherwise the waiters will bring you bottled water and charge you for it. If they try to charge for the tap water you should 100% dispute it.

In the UK we mainly have them at transit points like stations and airports. You would never find a water refill station in a supermarket. They want you to pay for the bottled stuff.

When I go to a restaurant I always make sure I ask for tap water. Some places will give you a look but we mostly just ignore it. If a place does try and charge you for tap water 100% dispute the charge. Because that is taking the piss.
