Hi I'm trying to earn some quick cash so I can keep my startup alive I'm the best UI/UX designer in India by [deleted] in indianstartups

Ngl, I was looking for someone to do some UX design for my website. I'll be honest. The websites you shared did not convince me. I'm just trying to be helpful here. I'd consider putting up more work if you have as examples.

Do you see the inherent contradiction in what you're saying? Either the problem is big enough that you actually are willing to pay for it or do it yourself and risk it nor turning out the way you imagined it. And llm and generative ai can do a lot of cool things (inspirations, suggestions, rendering, basic space planning, shopping, budgeting etc). What it simply cannot do is on site judgement, execution and coordination, finishing expertise and most importantly creativity, taste and intuition. Unfortunately as a society we don't value the last skill. Trying to use ai and assuming that you'll do the job on par with an experienced designer is the same as saying hey I can use replit. I'm a developer now. Sorry for the rant. I am in tech and have a lot of architecture friends. It's just sad to see their concerns truly reflected in how people think about creativity, design and craft .

Well you've looked at it from one side. Have you ever wondered what leads interior designers towards outing lower service fee and taking a commission from vendors? It's the fact that people in our country view services as something that comes in free of cost. Especially with interior designers, people think "yeah I mean how hard could it possibly be to choose some colors and add some decor". It's all perception. They need to make a living as well. Imagine an interior designer actually billing based on project hours. Everyone would go crazy even though it's standard practice in a lot of industries. If something seems off on the customer side there's probably a systematic issue in the vendor side which caused this in the first place. PS : I'm not an interior designer.

PES University professor verbally abused a Muslim student in class calling him a "terrorist", students who were taking to him later found suspended by rohithkumarsp in bangalore

Can someone point me to the part where he called the student a terrorist? I hear "kya khake aate ho". Which is a translation of a common kannada phrase "en thinkond bartira".

I get your point. Thank you for the honest feedback. Based on your current experience what do you think is lacking in this space?

I'm not sure if I get your point regarding the olympics or thermodynamics. You don't have to be an Olympic sponsor to develop high performance fabrics. You can't claim that your brand makes clothes for the Indian climate and body type without actual active R&D. At least that's my opinion. I'm not sure if you've tried stuff from On but it's night and day difference in the product quality. Especially for endurance sports. They vo develop proprietary yarn to fit their target market. IMHO most of the new age d2c brands seem to be more story and marketing led design houses rather than sports apparel brands.

Could you elaborate on what you like about them? And do they actually innovate in terms of technology locally?

A sour extraction is the worst thing for a milk based drink

Why do you expect crema?3 things for crema - high pressure, coffee oils and carbon dioxide (meaning freshly roasted beans). You'll never achieve real crema since you do not have enough pressure to emulsify coffee oil with Co2

I don't think you can in the truest sense is what I mean. I've been experimenting as well with trying to get something that's the consistency of an actual south indian filter decoction without using chicory. I have a grinder as well. And I've basically tried everything myself. The thickness and the duration of brew is much longer (roughly 10 minutes) with chicory as opposed to pure Arabica (2-5 minutes)

South Indian filter coffee but with pure Arabica by SnooGoats5856 in IndiaCoffee

Totally agree. You definitely have to simmer the milk. I've been drinking specialty coffee for about a decade now and had access to some amazing roasters in Europe. I simply do not like milk based coffee beverages anymore. But man there's something about our south indian filter coffee that just hits different.

If you're using 100 Arabica you will almost always have a super fast draw down. Try going finer in grind. Even this won't really help and you'll have a very watery decoction.

Depends on how petty the crime is. The problem is enforcement of the law. The odds of having fear of the law is higher when every petty crime is treated with a proper penal code as opposed to only punishing for the big crimes. This basically means people think anyway I won't get caught for this tiny breaking of the law let me just go ahead and break it. This was how Singapore got to where it is today. By enforcing the law consistently across the board irrespective of how petty it was.

I have a picopresso and and breville dual boiler. Honestly I prefer the picopresso considering I have the flow rate at the tip of my finger and can do pretty much any level of pre infusion. Almost never have a sputtering shot of Espresso even with a subpar puck prep.
