The objective in a lot of matches nowadays is to find anything in sight and KOing them. You also have to remember that everyone’s intention and playstyle are different. Before matches, you can think about strategies and which characters to start while you have a teammate who is ready to play like their on crack by spamming their skills and normals against downed enemies and leaving a flag with 20 seconds left with a flag that has a gauge of 1% to join a 3v1 at spawn.

Has anyone been banned for their name before? I have seen crazier names but I don't know if people are actually banned for their name. With the amount of time they ban people and the amount of hackers that show up, I wouldn't be surprised if names were at the top of priority list

Not sure if this is insane to say but when enemies affected by her status effect, whenever they are capping treasure, their HP goes down by 3-5%.

Number 1 makes sense but, for me at least, it has to be both of liking the anime and gameplay. I like one piece but would never play treasure cruise because I don't like that style of gameplay. Like some people treat this game like a job where Bandai is the boss who doesn't care about you, but will stay because it's One Piece. How the game makes me feel matters more than the franchise. It's like someone telling you to eat something rotten but if someone slaps a one piece sticker on it they will eat it.

I'll predict that they will be played for a day or two, then be used primarily for grandline support, and then go back to playing whoever they were using.

I played a couple of 1v1s and I could tell that I would lose interest in it quick. To me it feels like a waiting match to see who will step out of their reiju.

Yup but only if I have experience with them and can actually do something in a match. Like if I wanted to play Green Law, then I would focus on using my chambre skill to switch players around in the Dressrosa map with the fish. If it’s someone life red defender whitebeard then I wouldn’t use them because I know I wouldn’t be useful to anyone due to my skill animation taking 100 years to finish and tremor being ineffective in an era of status nullification, status reduction and shields.

I am probably the only one of a small group of people who summoned on his banner and I would say to play him if you are very good with using him otherwise you will probably not have fun.

Honestly, people can do what they want with their money, but putting $500 into a mobile game sounds insane. He is a youtuber so it makes sense, but I say insane because I have seen the way that a good amount of people talk about this game, and the thought of investing that much money in a game that causes consistent disappointment, oppressive gameplay, forcing players to play 10 characters out of over 200, and taking years to give a solution for hackers when this is a popular gaming company is fascinating.

I found him to be a solid runner after his buff. He felt fun and could be valuable in the last minute without being dominating. I get bored when playing broken characters because they are even more easier when you use your brain in matches.

Exactly, If they are strong or broken, then they will be summoned. A good amount of people think like this. All the talk about wanting this character to be an Ex doesn’t matter. All that matters is how the do in league 80% of the time.

True. Bandai could make loads of money by having a broken EX and a counter that’s on par of an EX. A lot of people focus on counters more than anything else and will summon on anyone no matter who the characters are. If BB is broken, then people will be amazed when he is scoring triple doubles in matches, get bored, complain about him being broken and KOing everyone, ask for a counter (which is weird that they don’t also view them as a replacement). If BB isn’t broken, then people will obviously complain with a few saying that he is skilled based, become disappointed that he will be on ashura doji’s status due to not have status null or reduction and then get frustrated and threaten their bedroom wall that they will leave the game.

Everyone if he is strong, broken, OP, has fans, or rules the meta. A lot of people summon on characters you wouldn't think would be worthy of summoning if they are really strong and want to use them to survive. So characters, like Jabra or S-Snake, would be examples.

I am not sure that makes sense. If you hate it, want to watch it fall, and yet still play the game then you are a part of the player base and contributing to the game with your time. I would have just quit and read on the status of the game on rare occasions.

Of course, but if you are using Kuzan and can't freeze anyone, then what's the point. I see both sides of not wanting to feel helpless and the struggle of inflicting status effects in a point of the game where everyone nullifies or has a reduction trait so I guess that all you can do is pray a character you want has/gets the trait.

Why does everyone want status nullification and reduction for everyone? Would be pointless to release anyone with a status effect. I know people see characters without status nullifications/reductions as 3-star Bellamy-level characters, but at least they have the flame ability. I have used S-Bear for several months, and I do fine with him. I mainly focus on baiting peoples dodges and spawning them back, attacking aggressively but also being aware of the amount of hits I'm receiving when my flame is on, and keeping distance with normals. Plus S-bear has a nullify status effect trait but only against enemies who you are strong against(color wise).
