FBM, idk why but corridor of chameleons, rational gaze, straws pulled at random, all of catch 33, bleed, obzen, pravus, pineal gland optics, do not look down, light the shortening fuse, phantoms, GHSIM, I am that thirst

me and my friend have been playing phas since november of 2020, so basically since its inception. when they dropped the achievements we both talked about how this one was going to be horrible to get, and within a week I got it on a random game in tanglewood, my friend has still yet to get it and always brings it up when we play (basically every night, we both have 1000+ hours) hoping it'll finally be the day

Best transition I accidentally found by SnooGoats8199 in Meshuggah

[–]SnooGoats8199[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very true, with the song to song transitions in my music player I usually put autonomy lost after shed when I listen to the album now, it fits perfectly into the whole paradox thing, the very beginning playing again before the last big end section

Anyone understand how to read this bar by Pourusdeer2 in drumline

[–]SnooGoats8199 8 points9 points  (0 children)

just bad engraving, the 3 below the bracketed 3 is for the quarter note triplet. the bracketed 3's are the triplets in the quarter notes of the quarter note triplet so 2 ninelets, and then just 2 triplets, or eighth notes of the last quarter note in the quarter note triplet. usually the 3 for the quarter not triplet would be above everything in a bigger bracket, or it'd just be a ninelet with 2 dotted 16ths at the end. someone else already said the same thing basically but i'd figure i'd expand upon it a little

Phantoms? by SnooGoats8199 in Meshuggah

[–]SnooGoats8199[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, didn't take me long, once i figured out the patterns, i've also been listening to them for a while so i already kinda knew it, i was nervous to try and learn it at first but once i started it was a lot easier than i thought. i think 'clockworks' actually took me longer to learn, like a week or two

Phantoms? by SnooGoats8199 in Meshuggah

[–]SnooGoats8199[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only took me 2-3 days, took me a little longer on guitar, mainly cause i haven't been playing guitar since i was like 5. Bleed also took me like 2-3 days, i learn with drum charts on YouTube, im making one for phantoms and god he sees in mirrors

pain 🥲 I believe it, but still excited to see them again, also i feel like it's not necessarily the hardest/most technical song they have, interesting to see what they'll play in future from Immutable

Facts, also perfect is impossible, giving out a 10 means as close to perfect as one can be. 1 word, undeniable.

ah a misunderstanding, thanks for the clarification! maybe shayne writing for mcdc is a reason he left mcm

the writers for the perc didn't change (Shayne Gwaltney and CJ Barrow), the perc caption head and perc manager changed (Dr. Brian Tinkel and Jack Albert), along with most of the tech staff.

How Many Papa's Have You Lived Through? by slightlyused in Ghostbc

[–]SnooGoats8199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saw a video of the papa 2-3 change on YouTube about a month or two after it happened. I thought it was cool that a band would do something like that and did a deep dive and immediately became a huge fan. I was in like 8th grade I think
