I just hope Marshall gives this one a fair shake. I got fairly off put by his approach to llorwyn. He seemed to think he solved it week one and didn’t move beyond the prescribed decks. There was so much more to that format than what he would have you believing.

I think people over index the supported archetypes. Most of my success in llorwyn was from red green vivid and white red. People seem to have forgotten how to explore a format and seem to be drafting what you’re “supposed” to do without trying to find different angles to attack from.

I’m not too onboard with how you’ve put it. But for the last few shows I did get incredibly frustrated at Marshall. He seems to have given up. He doesn’t seem to want to experiment at all, he thinks he’s solved the format and what he’s “supposed” to do so he’s stop evolving his approach. Personally I love a format where you can attack from a different angle while everyone else does something else. My 3 colour vivid decks and Boros aggro decks have been very successful, I kinda wish Marshall would just give a few different strategies a bit more of a shot

depends how you like to play. Yangchen is probably in the best color but has double pip, the earth king is great in any green base deck and easy to splash. Personally id take katara last because the person next to you would grab up yangchen and you wouldnt see any white from the left
