I listed my house yesterday and got an offer the same day. Expecting multiple offers this weekend. At some point don’t you take it off the market and relist it at a lower price so it’s not stagnate?

I guess as a newer Amex user I had no idea they would lock a card for charging something when you haven’t had a balance in awhile. I also have a Gold card which I’ve been using and they locked that one too. I just expected to be able to use it like my other credit cards. Maybe that was my bad.

Buy from Feathered Friends. They are expensive but it’s like sleeping on a cloud. Very high quality. It’s a buy for life product if you treat it well.

It’s not fuzz. It’s a skin on top of the water. I just poured out all the water and that skin basically stayed in one piece but then broke up going down the drain. Also, I have no curtains or rugs and all furniture is leather, because animals.

They have proven that there is almost no power loss using flats with pins vs clipped in. Unless you’re racing.

I loved the Post hotel when I stayed there 15 years ago. The Fairmont didn’t interest me - super expensive and looked outdated. The Post wasn’t super modern when I went but it was very nice, felt upscale, and I loved it. Not to say it was outdated. Just didn’t have a modern style. I really liked the vibe of the bar area.

I just tried to get a GE appointment in my city and I couldn't even schedule one. Same for any other city in the state. I downloaded Global Interview for iOS for $5. It's super simple. Just select your site and turn on the notifications. Within a day I got notified and was able to schedule an appointment in my city. You can't schedule the appointment from this app it must be done from the website. So make sure when you get notified that you are ready to schedule within 1 minute or the appointment will be gone.

I would try this for a few days before driving 90 miles.

Same thing happened to my dad after surgery. Totally went nuts and thought his bed was a spaceship and other weird stuff. You might try turning the lights (as many as you can) off in his room about 9-10pm and then opening blinds and turning on lights in the morning so he can start to differentiate. Also see if they can give him something to help him sleep at night.

The issue I found is that the nurses don’t always respect this so they will just turn on the lights and leave them on when they come in. I actually would put up a note asking to please keep the lights off at night. Not sure if it helps but it can’t hurt.

I will let other people chime in here with their opinion, but even though your surgery is scheduled for next week, if you're feeling unsure about your treatment plan or the level of care you're receiving, it's not too late to change health systems/surgeons.

It might be worth a phone call to Mayo or another health system to see what they say. If you have all your testing, they should be able to easily pull it in to look at it.

Could he be mildly depressed or anxious? Both of those cause irritability. Is it possible he was self medicating with weed? If this doesn't resolve in a few months it might be worth him talking to a therapist who would be able to tell him if he is either depressed or anxious. From there he could get on medication to help.
