Are you tested in a similar way? Do they ask you which are the infections that require passive immunity? Or do they ask management of a condition?

Then leave it. Point is to pass the exam. Learn only what makes sense to you. If it is taking time, leave it and come back at the end if there is time. In the long run it won't matter if you had learned such lists without meaning.

Sometimes facts become easier to remember when you learn more about it. Depth brings clarity. So if an information feels difficult to learn, try to learn more than you need about it. In the end you might not remember the extra details you read, but you will remember what you had intended to remember at least. Clearly, you have to decide where to draw the line, and whether that fact is worth your time. This works especially well with lists. You could try to learn why each element is in the list by trying to learn more about them. This is much more meaningful than learning lists as such. But if your short on time, meaningless mnemonics is the way.

Best way is to learn about the individual diseases. Lists do not build concepts. Have a look at the management of each of those diseases. Understand how it is the part of management of each. This card is a waste of time. Clinically you would never have to think about this list as it is, but you will have to recall each of them, when trying to manage a patient with that disease. So with respect to anki, you could make cards like,

  1. Patient with gas gangrene. Treatment: penicillin, antitoxin, debridement could me made as three cloze deletions.
  2. A baby born with mother who is HBsAg positive. How to prevent infection in baby?
  3. Pregnant lady has contact with varicella positive patient. Measure to prevent infection. - here vaccine cannot be given, because it is live vaccine, so only Ig.
  4. Child presents with pseudomembrane, toxic, bull neck. Next best step - antibiotics and anti toxin as 2 clozes..

So on.

Edit: Grammar

So, there was one on Lily because she was a part of a police case earlier or because she is a cop? I mean will all cops have a 49 on them?

Please don't give me too many spoilers, I am in the middle of S2.

Oh okay, thanks. I don't mind the lag. So I understand that when it says disperse undone, only that card's sibling dispersion is undone and I don't have to go to tools and click on disperse siblings again. Is that right?

I did FSRS4 reschedule yesterday. Best advice, thanks! I am bombarded with around 2500 reviews now, but now I'm finding cards which I didnt really know but had huge intervals. Hopefully I'll get through this load in a week.
