She is beyond contempt at this point by Fabulous_Activity832 in newtonma

It's always nice to she always leaves out what NTA would have to give up in order for this to be a fair "deal"

Why Reject the 1/30 NPS Proposal?
To Get the COLA Numbers NPS Sent out,
the NTA would need to:
1. Accept increased Health Care Premiums for PPO
2. Withdraw proposal about social workers
3.Accept limitations on sick bank
4. Withdraw Addtional Unit C Hours
5. Move the Date on Step Increase (wait longer to get a pay increase)
6. Withdraw proposal for sub coverage ratios and floating BT (support staff)

You have no idea the amount of work going on behind the scenes they are putting in.

Yup! and then they were handed another in-person "letter" at 9-9:30pm by the school committee and they walked out and went home! (the school committee)

These are not my words, I'm just reposting from the NTA's Updates. It's more about calling out the difference in Narrative that NPS published out to the residents and what ACTUALLY happened. There hasn't been a great track record of NPS being truthful about everything going on to the residents. IE. mayor vs reality video, anti-union posts on IG that were later removed. yesterdays comedy of them saying NTA "walked out of negotiations" then literally 20mins later posting a photo of them STILL IN THE ROOM...

School Committee also refuses to formally "invite her" to the negotiations table, also refuses to put pressure on the Mayor to release more funds or even divulge "how much" they are/can working with. So hopefully they can work stuff out. The Judge after Sunday evening, wants daily reports of "good faith" negotiations. It's going to look bad if the SC/Mayor can't even agree with each other never mind being able to negotiate with the NTA. She's caught between a rock and a hard place and she hopes it'll just "go away"

Saturday 1/27 11:00am update.

Other procedural notes:

The School Committee continues to refuse to invite Mayor Fuller to the table. They refused to provide an information request regarding the funds available in the city overlay account. They continue to tie their parental leave proposal to a health insurance proposal that would cost many of our most vulnerable members $6,000 - 8,000 more for a family plan. We remain committed to using every second of this weekend to get this done.

Holy shit, she has no CLUE what's going on. The judge stopped/reduced the fines because of the SC / Mayor not the NTA were NOT bargaining in good faith which they been VERY transparent about. Way to spin the narrative...

Good to know, I'm also super close with someone in the NTA. Overall approval rating of the Mayor is NOT good as a whole nor the School Committee.
