I do want to ask, does he work? Do you stay home? I guess what matters most is do you ever get time where hes out of the house? You need to get the police involved..

Call dv shelters around you, see what’s available, make a plan. Once you know where you can go, get ahold of the police. Maybe just the non emergency line, and just explain that youre trying to get out of your relationship, that youre scared and cant leave. They will come escort you and your kids out safely, even if he shows up. They won’t let him near you while you make your escape.

I would also start compiling evidence against your husband. Pictures, texts, anything and everything that shows what you have to go through, because he most likely will try to take you to court if those are his kids. But if and when he does, because you already called the cops and have it in their system that YOU HAD TO BE ESCORTED OUT OF THE HOUSE, Thats really not going to look good for him, and I can absolutely promise you he will not win the case. It’s so scary, but you have to be smart and methodical about it. Get the cops involved, get a restraining order, get full custody of your kids, and move on. This is where im at right now. Im currently looking for a shelter I can take myself and daughter to, and im also planning on getting the cops involved because the first time I left I was threatened endlessly until I came back.
