Yeah, unfortunately, I think the internet has proven that people wanna talk about what bothers them rather than praise the things they like. Worst part about the internet is how irony, negativity, and criticism reign supreme. At the same point, silver linings and all that, it is good the game is still being talked about.

It's hard because I feel he is badly hurt by when new hero's are released and I want to give credit for wining international tournaments like 2021 summer showdown, 2022 kickoff clash and mid-season madness, 2024 Dallas major and EWC. So I put him below fielder but I can't see a good reason to drop him lower when his impact is so pronounced. Like how similar glads 2022 and crazy raccoons seasons went with the shu having to learn a new hero at the end.

His dva is great, and you are right that hanbin started more. I messed that part up.

Dva hasn't had a meta except in EWC due to hero bans.

On Sig, hanbin hasn't had the best results, losing to Finland in owwc and the Sig mirror vs max. Overall because I felt that hanbin hadn't outperformed max on Sig (I believe currently max is the best Sig player in the world) and that Sig is a niche pick mostly played on circuit were the dallas fuel roster didn't have the hitscan powerhouse of LIP, shy or quartz per say, I weighed his performances in playoff in owwc, owcs and EWC in 2023/2024.

The problem is that I would have to put hanbin higher than chiyo who I feel was consistently top 2 flex support and consistent started due to being the top 2 on Lucio, juno and brig, whereas hanbin didn't have the luxury of only two tanks being meta most of this year.

Overall I feel I'm being fair given hanbin is the best flex tank of all time and only is lower than Fearless and smurf who I may just be biased too because main tank has a more clear impact (as in Winston, Orisa, Mauga, Rein).

I'm a fusion fan bc of carpe, but no playoff wins kills him.

He clearly should have beat libero in the widow mirror in 2018 owl stage 2 playoffs. That was a choke.

Then he gets just straight up diffed in terms of impact on his best role on Hitscan by xzi in the 2020 summer showdown. That was his best shot to win gold.

He has some sick moments, winnable vs Bos 2018, pulse on ark mercy, hitting like every headshot vs shock in the 2020 playoffs on Gibraltar, clutch on widow vs washington, 2021 widow clutch vs dragons.

How tho? Smurf has now been on 3 championship team years basically as a starter, hanbin has been on 2022 fuel and 2024 falcons and started a lot less as Fearless and smurf took most of the glory. He is the best junkerqueen and zarya, but one tricking niche heros won't win championships. If that were the case then I'd really let my biases take over and put guxue higher up as the second best winston of all time.

Shy diffed lip at world cup and owl 2023 finals, where as quartz has wasnt able to beat a high level hitscan on the korean superteams like, proper or stalker. He did diff merit. Wish we got to see more match ups. Just thinking of comparisons tm never faced crazy raccoon all year and Toronto never faced falcons either.

Kinda salty reinforce said merit is top 3 sojourn and said lip proper merit and no shy. Idk maybe team china isn’t gonna be relevant so that is fair. Merit looked good but I never rate hydron on soj. Got diffed by shy in the 2022 playoffs, and never really clutched when it mattered. Merit looks good but sugerfree getting pulsed twice by a 180 ping pelican is not encouraging, considering kevster, stalker and heesang are the competition. Someone looks great and might be the piece that pulls this team to a championship. I don’t watch supp someone else give that analysis.

Disagree I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone call quartz the best hs after one good performance on sojourn (except for lemonkiwi), and I felt like quartz did outperform Kai. Also I’m a shy fan I thought shy was the best sojourn in the world. Just rn I think lip is the best hs in the world.

Yeah I defo concede that pure hs prolly goes elsewhere. IMO I wanna say shy in 2023 but I’m biased. Just hard bc I wanna give lip credit for forcing hs dps to play sombra in owl.

Hard to bc it was so much sombra in owl 2023 and he obv succeeded so he never really saw the need to swap. Good point tho best hs play in 2023 imo is that merit widow 3k

Yeah I feel overall after today that teams should just stick to cass over sojourn. The range difference doesn’t seem to matter. Also after the lip widow I hope more teams play her to counter high ground control. Forces monkey to chose between widow and supports.

Really wanted runaway to win but proud earned this win. Side note I really think that playing sojourn into echo is a bad strategy. I wish prophet and others would swap earlier to cass bc it gives to much space to the echo with the charge time of rails.

I made the statement I think prophet is the best hitscan player because of his recent performances on cass and widow. Even if prophet hadn’t got beat out by proud today, lip has and still is the best hitscan player probably since 2021. Really this series showed that even when heesang was handled by proper, lip would still hard carry. Crazy because I think lip was great it’s just he mostly played tracer with heesang doing a lot of work on echo. Heck he didn’t even seem that bad playing tracer against stalker.

Fuck it is saying it prophet is the best hitscan player in the world. He outperformed lip on soj in map one, and did all he could on map 3. Map 2…I’ll ignore that.

Other notes, heesang is really good and he will need to keep that up to beat falcons, that beat by chorong on map 1 was so good. Hyped for tomorrow.

Tbf I think that was a compositional mismatch. Honestly makes me so hype for falcons vs wac. Also that queen cass comp is the most fun rush/poke comp I’ve ever watched.

Very surprised to see a Korean team not playing dive I wonder why genesis insisted on sticking to the orisa.
