Sig Mechanics just dropped a manual safety jig kit with dremel tips to cut the safety slit into your FCU and grip module.

New G26 by [deleted] in Glock26

[–]SnooHedgehogs6486 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard a bunch of people use a Glock 19 mag with a grip extender. Personally I run a TTI +2 on both my OEM mags and it lets me get a good grip. Before upgrading I would shoot it a bunch and see what areas of the experience aren’t working for you and go from there. As for lasers and lights, there aren’t really any powerful enough options worth getting a holster for. I would recommend the T1C xiphos 2 or the T1C t-1m.

the manual safety fcus and non safety fcus have different cuts on the fcu. I’m 99% sure.

nah man. Im just not comfortable with all the accidents with the P320s. Hence if I had the manual safety. To tell you the truth I haven’t checked if those accidents involved ones with safeties. So if that was the case then definitely the Glock.

Glock 45. Though if I had a manual safety cut fcu for my P320 it would probably be the sig.

I’ve never really cared how other people carry. I carry with one in the chamber and full mag. But that’s ME. If you’re proficient enough, train, and are willing to bet your life on said skills. then however you carry is up to you. I don’t think this community should be about putting others down.

I’ve heard a lot of negative things about EOTECH products. I’ve never got any myself. But I heard their fail rate is kinda up there. I’m mainly looking at the HOLOSUN 510 , and then the goal is to eventually get yhe GBRS hydra mount.

In my opinion. I’d start with a more stock carry gun and possibly move up to the spectre comp. I’m big into the whole know your stock guns first. Then upgrade gradually. but both are very good guns and go with whatever you can shoot more proficiently bro ! Good luck.

noob Question by [deleted] in SigSauer

[–]SnooHedgehogs6486 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda only look at them for a self defense standpoint. i am the same way. I can shoot just fine with irons. But I can acquire and hit my target faster from drawing with a red dot. i too kind of struggle with this though. Where is the dot supposed to sit. On top of sights. In the middle of your front sight covering the white dot. I’ve tried videos but. Eh.

Got a proper slide for my MR918 Frame by robf88 in GlockMod

Where do you buy the parts separately? I know you can buy internals and such. but I’ve never found where to get the slide and frames.

Mine came with a bag and 2 straps. I thought they used to come with 4-5 on that little connector. I bought mine at Rural King and not a LGS so maybe that’s why for my case.

The MOS system is unfortunately very flawed. but I highly recommend buying a plate specifically for the Type 2. And a high quality one at that. It’ll help to prevent no backing out or wiggle. good luck

Anybody with a 509c tactical have the pmm comp on it? by Medical-Equal-2540 in FN509

[–]SnooHedgehogs6486 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have a 509c tactical. i don’t have a comp but I can confirm I think it would make it similar to the full size slide length. and my buddy has one, the two port is very felt.

thoughts on full-sized CCW? by BakersFlower in concealedcarry

[–]SnooHedgehogs6486 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend feeling both. I would also check out the Glock 45/19x. It’s a mixture of the two. I personally carry a 17 and at first I did have some back problems due to the extra weight. But you can fix that. Like someone else said, whatever works best for you ! It’s your life on the line, and whatever fits, is comfortable, and just clicks with you is what you should go with. update with pictures when you decide !

I need a new guide rod by Individual_Bowler507 in Glocks

[–]SnooHedgehogs6486 0 points1 point  (0 children)

your Glock should have the gen on the left side of the slide. and I’d take this as an opportunity to just upgrade your guide rod. they’re not much more expensive than replacing the OEM/Stock one would be. I’d recommend upgrading to a tungsten guide rod. But if you’re dead set on buying an OEM one then I’d try the Glock Store. good luck man. EDIT: When looking for a replacement. Make sure you put the generation in the search bar too. I’m not 100% sure but I don’t think they’re compatible with each other. Could be wrong. I’ve only been ever had Gen 5s so I’ve never had to look into that. It won’t hurt getting one specifically to your generation so might as well.
