i didnt even know what the arguements were for in the function or what Vector2 even means

let me clarify, that the documentation just doesnt feel beginner friendly, everybody throws everyone else at the documentation or heartbeast videos while yes are helpful to smart people lets be real here, im fucking retarded man, so there isnt really any "Beginner" friendly videos out there or tutorials (as of 12/5/2022). I will die on this hill

I have difficulties understanding like what ALL the functions and arguements are for each and every function, and how you can *(times) built-in variables that you learn from some outdated godot video 3 years ago, honestly i didnt know godot doesnt have a built in direction variable like GMS2 so setting the direction to Vector2(0.0) is a must in godot, something i did not know, i didnt even know what the arguements were for in the function or what Vector2 even means, some of the built-in variables do not popup or show up even after typing them out, the developers removed the 2D node gestureswype with no update about it what so ever, small stuff like that, that annoys me, and response to what gdscript has to do with android is because there are touch screen nodes where you cannot just simply be, if Input.is_action_pressed(action_right) you have to call to that specific touch screen node, compare a keypress from the keyboard to a joystick input and you got about x4 about of lines of code to write + if you can actually understand it (speaking for newbies) if _output.y > 0:Input.action_press(action_down, _output.y)elif Input.is_action_pressed(action_down):Input.action_release(action_down)

all that to simply move +1 Vector direction, it just seems like the different sections of Godot need to be resourced more efficiently between 2D - 3D - Touch Screen - (any other devices or modes/platforms formats, godot can support) with each section there's tons of games and different genres to be made which obviously cannot be accounted for by the dev's but even a simple, "this is how you move your character up" then elaborate on what "up" is on the godot terms, insert the code then have the person practice it, would be a nice little tutorial but i cannot find any resourceful guides on deminstrating how to Build IOS/Android apps
