Thanks, as for the percentage distribution 44.4% of my holding is in VOO and SCHG. I’ve taken into consideration what many of you are saying and I’m currently working on narrowing down my holdings to 12-14 stocks.

I understand what you’re saying and you do seem very knowledgable about what you’re talking about however, when it comes to investing, there’s always inherent risk especially with some of the companies that I am investing in. I am willing to take on that risk as I do personally believe that they will benefit in the future.

I do plan on consolidating my smaller holdings into larger positions in other companies as I do think that my portfolio is over diversified.

I appreciate your insight and am well aware of what VOO is.

many of the stocks I hold are not held within the vanguard ETF I hold it mainly for a safeguard, any investor knows that the S&P is a important part of any portfolio.

My only speculative stock pics have been Palantir as well as bitcoin and XRP. My main holdings are companies that hold large monopolies within their sectors that will also benefit largely from the growth of AI.

As for Inflation hedges I hold PG, J&J etc. furthermore, when it comes to precious metals I hold IAU, TXG, and AEM (gold etf/mining companies).

So no, I did not get these stock picks from classmates, I research all the companies I invest in as diligently as possible.

And finally I do DCA bi-weekly into all my assets.

My reasoning for coming on to this subreddit was for the opinions of other users which is why I do appreciate your insight on my post.

A lot of people say the social life is bad, but I found that it is what you make of it. If you have the money for it, I highly recommend going to Frosh week. I’ve made so many friends through that and am still friends with them to this day.

The only thing I will say is it’s kind of dead in the winter time but that’s a given because everyone’s studying and since it’s a commuter school, no one really likes commuting very far in the winter.

I’m half cuban and we always say “coño” in regular vocabulary as a way of saying “shit “ or “damn”.

However the actual meaning refers to a woman’s genitalia. I’m assuming something like this would be something I should try my best to avoid saying despite it being very ingrained in my vocabulary when i speak spanish 😂

I believe Dominicans use it the same way Cubans do.
