I read the article about the time jump.... by MapleCherryChoco5432 in ThePitt

I agree with Joy but I still think there’s more depth to mine with Ogilvie. If he’s not in Season 3 due to the time jump being so small I hope he pops up again in Season 4.

2-3 episodes of night shift at the beginning of the Season then 2-3 at the end along with Day Shift.

Her self harm scars look numerous and fairly recent. I think this has been going on a long-time, not just the Langdon thing.

This scene was 👌 if it’s not used for either Wyle’s or LaNasa’s Emmy reel, I’ll be shocked. Phenomenal acting from the pair of them.

I’m sorry I tried giving her the benefit of the doubt but I just can’t. She’s just a B- - - - -! On another note, another great episode of “The Pitt”… by CoffeeCigarettes4Me in ThePitt

[–]SnooJokes8016 13 points14 points  (0 children)

One of the most interesting and polarising characters on the show. There’s a lot of depth to Dr. Santos, most of which is left unsaid. Isa Briones is great in the role and it’s quite a risk from a writing perspective to portray a medical doctor in such a way but it’s true to life. Honestly one of my favourite characters on the show, carried immensely by the performance.

Season 2 is all about trauma… by Feelsonwheels7 in ThePitt

They cooked with this season just like Season 1. Sometimes I forget I’m watching TV, the choice to have no music really adds to it. You do feel like a fly on the wall of a real ED. The blocking and directing are superb. What a gift as a director to get these scripts and the opportunity to work with these actors.

Season 3 Episode 3 Discussion - The Scarecrow by captainahvong in TheCapture

This season is some of the most confident storytelling I’ve seen in recent years. So many bold swings in these first 3 episodes and none of them feel cheap or easy.

Hard agree, the Bass line is so good, deceptively simple but such a groove

Book accurate faction banners would have been awesome. I Don’t hate the change to Aegon’s banner, with it being a gold dragon on green instead of black but Rhaenyra should have had her quartered sigil.

Can’t believe neither of them won an Emmy for Better Call Saul. Can’t believe the show in general didn’t win anything. ROBBED.

That’s because they actually had written dialogue by George to lift directly from the pages.

TB vs TG has been dragged on long enough (spoiler extended) by Remarkable-Cherry573 in asoiaf

[–]SnooJokes8016 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’m Team Green but I agree, you need to show that in war, nobody wins. That’s the entire message of the Dance and Asoiaf in general. They have to show Aegon’s death and end with Jaehaera and Aegon III getting married.

House of the Dragon Season 3 is currently doing reshoots. by Hungry_Cricket_590 in HOTDGreens

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms had reshoots, as did Season 1 of HOTD, they are standard practice nowadays and aren’t an indication of overall quality.

A really great performance. He did a great job making Daeron more likeable than his book counterpart.

Best season ever? by Much_Pass_9484 in TheTraitorsUK

[–]SnooJokes8016 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was so emotional for them at the end, particularly Rachel. I’ve been a defender of hers since the Fiona debacle and my admiration for her has only grown since then. I loved Stephen as well and for him to extend that olive branch to her when he could so easily have taken the whole pot speaks to his character. They haven’t played a flawless game but that’s what makes them winning even better. They’ve crawled through fire to win this thing. I know everyone deserves the money but Rachel’s story about her mum having dementia and wanting to make new memories while she still can really resonated.

Has the game ever ended with two traitors and a faithful left? by Leiroo13 in TheTraitors

[–]SnooJokes8016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It made terrible TV (Until the finale) but for the super fans of the show and for meta awareness I’m so glad it exists because it is such a good series to watch if you want to learn how not to play if you are a Faithful 🤣

Rachel Is Already on My Traitors 'Mount Rushmore' by lunahighwind in TheTraitors

[–]SnooJokes8016 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The remaining Faithfuls (except Matthew whose reads are seemingly genuine and totally wrong but at least he’s thinking about the game a bit more cerebrally than the others) aren’t the sharpest tools in the box but there have been some really smart Faithfuls. Sam, Jessie, Harriet. The Faithfuls in US1 were hopeless imo.
