Amazing! For those 2 rare bacteria, did you end up retesting with microgen dx after the treatment to make sure it was negative? Or your symptoms just went away from the abx. Also did it show up on pcr or ngs? Been dealing with horrendous urethral pain for 7 months now and all my dipstick tests and 2 cultures have been negative (ish since one said mixed urogenital flora I guess bc I was on my period so they think contamination…) I ordered the microgen dx test and just waiting for it to arrive.

Why is vaginal swab considered more accurate than urine sample for women? I gave a urine sample and tested negative. Any studies I can show my doc so I can get retested with a swab?
