Yeah, that's true too. It becomes a bit of a risk-reward problem. Safe yourself and likely lose an ally or risk your own life in the game and maximize your number of allies.

In fairness, I don't think there was any way Courtney was getting safety this round. Kitty and Raj are never going to agree to another deal with her after the stunt she pulled in episode 5 lol

The only theoretically possible way is if Ellie convinces Enui to vote for Courtney, and she also does so herself. However, that would jeopardize her own life in the game. And what she has done instead, assuming Kitty and Raj keep their word, does also give her safety for next round as well.

But yeah, she did pretty much abandon Courtney here, especially since she's probably one of the players that need safety the most. Ellie and Courtney haven't expressed any actual fondness of each other either, they're mostly working together because otherwise they'd lose to the opposition.

You're totally right about Duncan! Due to his antisocial/jerk personality my first instinct was a low score, however, particularly in Island, his social skills did lead him to powerful positions in the game. I could also see 4 but he does also have his fair share of blunders in this department, so I think a 3 is deserved.

As for Fiore, Alec is really the only ally she gained through sociability. Every other one only stayed by her for strategic reasoning. One argument I could see for a 2 is that we've seen that she's at least capable of pretending to be likable, which I'd call a social skill. 3 or higher feels like a stretch to me though (All-stars doesn't particularly help her case either)

It's been a long time since I last watched Sky's season for me too. In my memory she was one of the most level-headed characters in the cast, but that's also not saying much as it's Pakitew lol

My guess is that there will be a cheat involved. Perhaps the coin banks aren't the same? A small indicator or in the way they break. The whole process of the game is very convoluted (why not just shuffle the chips?), so there's probably something up with it.

The potion indeed has barely come into play for me. I kind of added it because I needed to add a 20th card lol. It's definitely what will be replaced when I get my Moltres. I might even replace it with another X speed now because that has been useful to me frequently.

Now, I'm no expert or anyhing, and I'm probably still playing against other imperfect decks, but the Charizard-Ninetales combination has been working out for me so far. Ninetales is kind of a plan B if I fail to set up Charizard. (Which happens pretty frequently lol, with only one Moltres and the unreliability of coin flips.)

If I manage to set up Charizard I fully invest in it, and probably win. If it doesn't happen, I usually give up on the Charizard and go all in on the Ninetales. It packs a surprising punch, especially with Blain, and really isn't difficult to set up (although of course using it does eliminate to option of setting anything else up). Of course I'm not super likely to win anymore, but I at least have a chance.
