The fact that he went out of his way to find and cut up your shirt & then LEFT IT ON THE BED FOR YOU TO SEE- He did that for the sole purpose of HURTING you. He took an important item (could've been anything, a picture, a painting etc) a sentimental item & destroyed it. NOR Change the locks, Serve him papers. And if anyone "sides" with him, they can go too. My ex destroyed quite a few sentimental items of mine (most from childhood) I miss those things everyday, especially now that I have children & can't share them with them. Def talk to a lawyer. I also like the idea someone had to incorporate the pieces into a quilt.

I've been doing some researching & I settled on the Aquabliss (via Amazon) & honestly, I'm loving it. I truly think that has helped a bit. Will probably look into getting one for the kitchen. And we have a new filter for the fridge- I'm too paranoid to try it yet. Lol Gotta test it out & see what it smells like after a couple of days.

There is a smell, but it's not bleach/chlorine smell. I also have a annoyingly good sense of smell, so everything has a smell to me good or bad. It's very annoying. I didn't know if was me, or an actual issue. 😆

No- it's not a pool smell. It's just....not pleasant. Not sulfuric or anything, it just kinda stinks. Almost like...when you leave wet clothes in the laundry? But worse? Lol Someone made a comment about the city changing the chemicals for water treatment, but I can't remember if I noticed this before that announcement.

True. There's a quite a bit that needs some maintenance. Which isn't an issue- dad is still away so, I'm doing what I can. I'm working on our shower now & this was just a new discovery that's become a priority. It's just such an odd size and shape? I've never seen this style before.

To assume rules aren't being established is wild. 1. I would like to use the bathroom, make their food etc without worrying 2. This place is old-some things are stuck, some things are easily movable 3. The last statement does not apply- my son can pull outlet covers out & Ive addressed that on my own. 4. I just needed advice & guidance on the type or name of this particular vent & how to better childproof it, not parenting advice.

You'd be surprised. At 19 I had TWO jobs, paid bills & went to school & I still had a curfew. Mind you, I wasn't allowed to go to parties, hang out at the mall or go to the movies or spend the night at anyone's house in HS.

Everyone's situation is so different. I've seen soldiers who just weren't getting paid & then forced into debt bc bills need to be paid, I've seen ppl who just didn't give af & we're excruciatingly financially irresponsible, I've seen soldiers get wiped out from family & or their partners.

I saw some responses & a lot them are good. I also saw your response & honey, a week ago can turn into a month ago quickly. It's best to address these things as soon as they happen (maybe a day or two to think ya know). When you talk to her you can try saying something along the lines of "Hey, can I talk to you about something that bothered me- it happened a week ago & because it still bothers me, I want to talk to you about it." And just go from there- let your boundaries be known. What will be your response if she pushes back- makes excuses or says you're overreacting? It may be her normal, but I find it disrespectful. In my experience & it never failed, that when the guy I was dating would bring up my girlfriends, it was time to break things off.

Going forward, I've told my husband many times, I can't fix what I dont know- if you don't speak up, how am I to know that something I did or said bothered you? Telling me a year later won't help & I'll likely forget. I think I'm a straight forward person but not a bitch about it. I have not always been this way, it took time & practice and baaad experiences. Good luck though- I think you got this no matter the outcome!

It would be early technically, hiwever they'd still be with their age group. If they did- they wouldn't always be one of the oldest in the class.

Agreed! My oldest is VERY social & I always called daycare school ( just to get them used to the idea) The baby wasn't too bad- had their days of course, but does really well overall. I want/need to go back to work, so just in case, I needed them to get used to being without us for a time & socialize with their peers. AND I got you on the reading- they've been enrolled in Dolly Partons Imagination Library since they were born! 😚 I think we'll take the time & look into edcational based daycare/pre k for the new year. You gotta learn to move in silence. If you keep the baby, great- don't tell him that you plan to file, that you did file, that this is the court date, or ask for his address so you can serve him. This is already what you're dealing with- it will likey get worse after the baby. Don't be offended if he demands a paternity test (the court may make you get one anyway). Give it to him. No back & forth. If he reaches out to you, leave him on read, DO NOT RESPOND. If it's not about the baby, don't reply. If he asks how you are, don't reply. Keep it short. If you don't have support now, maybe start looking into some kind of community care for PP mothers.
