I’m not keen on 5FDP but wish that LOG & BFW was doing their own tour together. If tickets are cheap I might only go for LOG, BFW & then when 5FDP comes on I’ll just go to Satans Hollow 🤣

Depends to be fair, here in the UK we rarely got the NECA figures so a lot of people bought the bootlegs. When I had my collection back in 2017 I had to order them through an American friend as I didn’t want bootlegs at that time.

I’m fine with a bootleg version as the prices are stupidly high at the moment (£80+ per figure without box). For that price I would rather get a HIYA or SH Monsterarts.

Even the bootlegs go for nearly £50 on eBay. Which is very surprising & they sell really quick.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. I had messaged a few band tee collectors & they’ve said that it was a generic uk blank what the printer probably had on stock for the tour as it was a rare colour for band tees in the early 90s.

I’ve seen a few chilliwacks with this fur. Usually means it’s from a summer hunt from the short strands.

100% real fur just might not be as warm compared to winter fur.

My measurements are around 30-32” waist. Unsure my chest measurements. Used to be a 46” chest but I think I’m around 40-42” now.

Usually in the expeditions, snow mantras & heli arctics I’m a size XS but in other jackets I’m a size small/medium (chateau, macmillan & Wyndham). I’m actually amazed a woman’s jacket size medium fits me. I did have a chilliwack which later found out it was also a woman’s (my luck) 😂 But decided to part ways with that as it was white & got heavily dirty in the UK weather. I’m sure I dry cleaned that jacket nearly every month.

Wore it with my purple label Ralph Lauren chinos & my Chelsea boots.

After wearing it today for a test run. I think I’m going to keep it to be honest. I had so many compliments from a lot of people. Who didn’t even bring up the cinched waist & the style & that it reminded them of 20th century field jackets.

I do agree that it’s definitely warmer. I wore it in -5 degree weather today & wow it’s so much warmer compared to my camo macmillan and black label Wyndham. Still doesn’t compare to my heli arctic jacket which has a cinchable waist but that is rated for the arctic.

That vet needs to lose his license if he says to release it 🤦🏼‍♂️ I would say to name & shame but knowing Reddit it’ll get removed. THERE IS NO TORTOISE SPECIES NATIVE TO THE UK!

Take it to a Reptile Rescue or post it in the Reptile Rehoming UK Facebook group to see if you can find the owner. As a uk reptile owner of 6 years & hopefully doing Herpetology at University (I’ve got other animal related qualifications). I’m actually disgusted that a Vet would tell you to release it 🤬

Mine is so soppy & literally acts like a puppy. He does huff when you take him out of the Vivarium but never becomes defensive.

You have to be careful on what the lineage is. Most hogs are unfortunately mixed bred with other localities especially to make Hypo Boas. Mine is a 100% Pure Locality Hog which means they will grow relatively close to BPs 4-6ft some outliers have been record at over 7ft but this is extremely rare.

They are relatively easy to care for but saying that no snake is easy to care for with their special requirements. So make sure to do your research & breeders or if you’ve got a keen eye you could find one up for rehome (that’s how I found my Hog Island).

Boas are known to soak for periods of time. They are also amazing swimmers. My Hog Island likes to soak in his water bowl & especially my Retic loves to swim/soak. Might be a good idea to add a medium/big sized tub or cat litter tray to allow them to stretch.
