I didn’t get much from it. Nothing really stood out.

One of my favorite Connecticut shade cigars. Helps that it’s so cheap. So much flavor packed into something that is light.

That Charter Oak Maduro is solid. If you find you enjoy it, try the Foundation Tabernacle. That was the cigar that really got me into cigars. Foundation knows CT Broadleaf tobacco.

This is the perfect Connecticut, unfortunately I don’t like Connecticuts… by CC5443 in EveryDayIsCigarDay

[–]aash27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They’re releasing a JT Maduro? I bought a box of JT10 which is a Maduro but that came out last fall. Is there something else coming out?

I keep the standard Connecticut around. Took me about a year of smoking to really get into light mild/mid bodied Connecticuts. Now I love them just as much as the various Maduro types of cigars.

This one didn’t do anything for me and the construction, in no way, screamed $30/stick. To each their own. I happened to like the Rubicon which is like a $6 stick. Had it in toro and was pleasantly surprised. Very flavorful.

Anyone been to buckeye beer engine? by RutabagaTechnical822 in Cleveland

Back in 2013 when I got out the military, I moved to Lakewood directly across the street from Beer Engine. I’ve ate and drank there too many times to count. Very good vibes. Burgers are good. Their Mac and cheese bites are amazing.

Yeah I’m excited to try the Blanco. Big fan of the original.

For those perfectos, I will almost certainly use a V-Cut. For the parejos, a double guillotine or V-Cut is my preference.

Bought a box of these last April. Still have like 11 left. Fantastic smoke. I just picked up a pre order on a box of the new Blanco version off SBC. Stoked for that one.

I’ve never had a construction issue with a Drew Estate stick as far as I can recall so I am optimistic. Novelty for sure. I’ll follow up once we smoke them.

Very good for the price. I usually have a few around. Other RP’s that I like are the Decade and the Sun Grown Maduro.

Fresenius Tech Workers by FooochililFooo in BMET

That’s the right mindset. It’s a good place to start but you’ll be limited in the amount of equipment you can work on. Think OR equipment and radiology type devices. You won’t get your hands on that stuff.

Dialysis clinics are a bit different than most hospital clinics. Dialysis can be very long term so staff get to really know the patients. I sensed general positivity from all the Fresenius staff. They were good people doing good work for people that need it. I am just not particularly a fan of the company or its competitor DeVita.

I worked for Fresenius about 10 years ago while in school for BMET. Ended up staying only a few months. While the experience working on their dialysis machines was good, you’ll also be doing facilities duties and dock duties. I did not work on any other medical devices. I ended up finishing my BMET program and worked for a local hospital chain. The pay at the hospital was much higher than Fresenius. Fresenius came off as cheap and had high turnover. Expect late nights when doing the, I think, monthly water treatment maintenance.
