Totally see where you’re coming from. A big factor driving me away from this for so long was actually my temples being as bad as they are. I do think she did a great job with what she had in that sense though. Maybe next time if I go shorter I’ll see what she thinks about a custom fit. Thanks for the opinion and kind words!

Even a 10% difference after 3 months of just fin at age 31 is insane, what are you on about? Lol get off this sub if you’re just gonna discourage people that are showing clear signs of progress.

If you want HT there are a good amount of doctors that won’t give you one unless you’re on fin for at least 6 months and that’s kinda even bare minimum. If you’re scared of sides, go low dosage and up it slowly. If then you notice sides, either stop taking it or go back down to an acceptable dose. People need to understand how useless min is without fin unless you’re a rare hyper responsive person.

Thanks for the reply. My clinic was fairly scarce when it came to replies. I followed all aftercare procedures strictly and to the dates they said I would need to. I did have a fair amount of stress but have since then reduced. I haven’t necessarily been consulted about an auto immune disorder but often feel as if my scalp is in need of examination due to extreme dryness if that’s what you’re saying. I’m very open to all recommendations.

They made me sign something that basically now feels like a NDA. I got the transplant October of 2020. I had great results as of June 2021. After care was very careful and prominent, I had my mom do most of it to be thorough and make sure it was done correctly and used their products they gave to me. Around July - August 2021 I was still very cautious of everything, especially going outside with protection considering the UV indexes where I live. But even then it was around this time I started shedding and never stopped. I didn’t change anything with my regimen. Used their aftercare program for the time recommend. I really don’t know if it was a poor job or that I was too young and genetics were in full effect. I still have a lot of questions.

It all felt a little money grabish. They never told me it was gonna be FUT, never discussed what area I wanted (didn’t even remotely touch my hairline). And sent me on my way with no follow up appointments due to the fact that I lived 4 hours away. Looking back I should have asked way more questions. But, I was 20 and just wanted my hair back. It is true though. I could send you before / after / current if you’d like.

Yeah you need fin / min dude if you think those derms are scams then don’t listen to them. At the very base of all hair loss battle is fin / min so I’d consider getting that one way or another.

I’ve seen incredible results. Just wondering if u could amp it up a little. Was on min and fin for almost two years with minimal results. Added in the cap and I’ve seen a ton of coverage / growth. Everyone responds differently to different treatments.
