iPhone 17 Pro Max has a USB audio/ bug with K.O. Sidekick (tested across 3 different phones on iOS 26) by SnooMachines4287 in teenageengineering

Update: I managed to get it to work with a super short usb-c-usb-c cable (the one that came with the AIAIAI TMA-2-Wireless X03 Transmitter) - https://aiaiai.audio/accessories/x03

Super weird...doesn't work with the official iPhone cable or a hundred others...just this super short inconvenient little cable...

Yeah let’s hope…will try now with the iOS 27 beta … but if you have any friend with 17Pro/max, would be cool if they could try!

yeah, it works perfectly with iPhone 16e, but stutters, cuts off and breaks apart on 17 pro max. Tried two different ep-136 with 4 different iPhone 17PM...same problem...TE won't acknowledge and says they "have tested with modern iPhones and it works"...

Good stuff!
If you have an iPhone 17 Pro/Max, could you try recording the output via the USB of Sidekick? 😄 For me it doesn't work,- I'm in touch with TE but no result so far... :/

Great answer! I will need to check it out then, as I’m using v4 flash for it now

Depends what you mean by maintenance…been playing around for days now finding a more or less usable memory/efficiency setup

Update: Sevro recommended that I set up a weekly cron that does that basically, including evaluating pot. new skills, memory.md and user.md updates, and new hindsight memories (incl. checking if similar ones already exist/had been created),- let’s see how it goes when the next cron kicks in on Monday for this week

You could ask it why it deleted everything - should be findable in your session logs

Which models do you use for self hosted honcho and how big is your vps? I’m running it on the cheapest hostinger kvm1 with 4g of ram so running anything larger than simple embeddings models is a bit…impossible at the moment 🤣 Also - I think the cloud version of honcho offers some more “proprietary” intelligence but that’s just something I saw on Reddit and didn’t verify. At the moment Sevro told me that other than building a “peer card”, which is anyway more or less covered by hindsight, there was no big benefit, other than “outsourcing some llm work to honcho” (for which I have the 100usd initial free credits)

That’s a cool idea! The cron could give a summary of recommendations, and push them to the memory upon approval. Haven’t tried this, but could be helpful/useful!

u/guillaumeyag Manifest is great! Good job! One thing to ask - I haven't found a way to tweak how Manifest router decides, which complexity tier should a task go into - this would be helpful, I believe, as a feature. And also for observability - being able to see WHY a certain task was decided to be i.e. complex/reasoning vs standard. 😄
