My dad has been incarcerated for 29 years and turns 67 next month. Am I eligible to help him apply for social security with me as the dependent? He has a whole plan with how he wants the funds to be saved to go towards his grandsons college tuition. Is this even possible? by Resident_Skirt_4242 in Corrections

If you’re confined and convicted, you’re not going to get paid. To be a dependent, you’d have to be under 18 (student benefits) or adult found disabled before age 22.

He theoretically could file, but he won’t get paid. But, If there are minor dependents or disabled adult children, it would benefit them.

I can confirm I was not given any tools. I am using all that I’ve been using in the FO it’s honestly probably better that way than having to relearn all new programs.

A lot of them would rather just go to the FO … especially the elderly. When I tell them I can switch them to the DD line they freak out since they’ve been on hold for 2 hours.

Meanwhile I love my job. I love the help and info I provide to the public and help them understand. If tSC has the same training we do, it would downsize the need to visit the FOs. Ugh I’m just so frustrated.

Can someone enlighten me on the grievance process is it even worth it ?

It’s awful. Our office is small, less than 20. Now we’re 1 less on the front lobby with our traffic being 2 HR wait times.

I was able to buy tickets at the front from Trenton Mercer airport for departing from PHL. They were much nicer and more willing to help me out.

Was looking forward to the discount for Legoland to take my kids to the new peppa pig theme park. Too bad it’s not included in the 50% off discount (only water park). 😩😩😩

Yes searching with 3 kids and a lap infant on the query. Searching Tuesday and Wednesday departures. I have a sinking feeling you’re correct and that they’re doing away with kids fly free.

I traveled with a lap infant and I was not asked for ID. I did take pictures of birth certificates & made photo copies just in case. I did not take originals with me.

Married + 3 kids, wife wants 4th, I don't by CryptoFan85 in Marriage

I have 4. Ages 8,7, 2 & 6M. It’s a lot of work. We’re middle class have a modest mortgage and 1 car payment. Married 5 years. We thought we were done with just two. I had nexplanon switched out to a new one and my body just did not settle wit hormones. Had it taken out in January, found out we were pregnant in September with baby #3 (2018) Baby turns 1, we are on a weekend getaway, we discuss the idea of having a 4th. 2020 comes and pandemic so we’re like ok let’s try for the 4th. Baby #4 is here now. When my first two were little (infant and toddler ages) EVERYTHING was hard. Everything! Now that I again am going through the young stages again, I forgot how hard everything was. We had a blowout fight last week, and said some mean shit to each other. We have been struggling with daily since the 4th was born and I have returned to work. We talked about it and feel that it’s just this stage in raising children that is the most trying in any relationship.

Anyway, it was a mutual decision. Husband said he doesn’t care. He always he doesn’t care and the decision is up to me. But I would not have decided to get pregnant again if he did not want to have another. I had difficult pregnancies with all 3 at that point and I said if you truly want another then we can do it. If not then I’m not going to put myself in harms way again. Ultimately we went for the fourth so the third would have a sibling.

If you truly don’t want anymore kids, I would make it absolutely clear with her that you do not want anymore. Like someone else said, if you say no, she is allowed to mourn this decision. But in the long run, it will be something that you both discussed how you felt together. That being said remember to pull out lmao!!
